Nothing Jane ever does is by chance. He watches everything and everyone carefully, he listens to everything and everyone attentively… nothing ever goes by unnoticed, and nothing is ever put aside without being investigated. Even though his methods aren’t always what one would call usual, they are effective. Normality? Completely overrated. Yes, there might be madness to his method… but there is a method, a method that usually leads to the killer. That’s all that matters, right?

It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia – Recap & Review – Storm of the Century

It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia
Storm of the Century

So, I guess it’s not always sunny in Philly after all. Batten down the hatches and stock your bunkers, there’s a hurricane a’comin’! We open on Mac (eating donuts), Charlie and Dennis watching the weather report on television. They are having a very intelligent debate on the weather girl’s breasts. Let’s just say she’s really endowed with ample cleavage. Then they switch over to the Spanish station and she’s got big boobs as well. Frank and the boys all think that the whole storm thing is media created hype, but Dee starts to panic and says it’s time to get into the bunker.

They have a bunker? Did you know they had a bunker? Yes, they built it for Y2K, which indeed WAS media created hype. Unfortunately, the bunker is no empty because Dennis has been having sex there and Mac has eaten most of the food. So Mac, Charlie and Dennis head for the store for supplies. It just happens to be the same store that the weather girl is reporting…

Exciting “The Office” Casting News!

photo: nbc

Catherine Tate returns to “The Office” this season reprising her role as Nellie Bertram. As you may remember, Nellie made her debut during last season’s finale, interviewing for the regional manager position.

Joining the second half of the current season, Tate’s Bertram is hired by friend and Chairman of the Board Jo Bennett (Kathy Bates, not seen) as a misguided special projects manager working directly for the corporate office and who very much enjoys the favoritism received from Bennett.

“Catherine is hysterical. We introduced her briefly in last season’s finale and knew she had to be a part of the show somehow. We’ll meet her again as corporate’s special projects manager, and her relationship with Robert California (James Spader) will be far from professional. We’re thrilled that she’s joining the cast,” said executive producer Paul Lieberstein.

Finally! Rules is back, after a long-awaited 6th season premiere, I was happy to see the gang back. You might remember, Russ was on a cruise with the Red Hat Ladies and not the Red Hot Ladies as he thought. It was there that he ran into the one and only Liz, the upstairs-cat loving-neighbor of Jeff & Audrey.

Not long into the show, with the helpful prodding of Timmy, we learn that Russ and Liz got hitched! Saaay whaaat! Let’s start at the beginning….

Hey, look! Today’s the 60th anniversary of the CBS Eye! Someday my grandchildren will ask me where I was on the 60th anniversary of the CBS Eye, and I will tell them I was in my home reviewing an episode of Person of Interest for an Internet site. And when they start mocking me for being so old that I was using computers BEFORE Apple planted them in our brains, I’ll have no choice but to power down those kids.

This week’s ep is a little ho-hum, but the guest stars, plot annoyances and fun trivia bits are interesting. And there are some more Lost callbacks too. Recap time!

The Vampire Diaries – Recap & Review – Smells Like Teen Spirit

Smells Like Teen Spirit. Wherein Stefan is the new Big Bad Vampire on the block, Elena takes self-defense classes, Rebekah makes a nuisance of herself, and Tyler is creepy.

Elena is Miss Serious Bizness when it comes to learning how to protect herself from her renegade boyfriend. Alaric matches tone and tells her how awesome she is, but only after nearly blowing her up with a vervain grenade. While Elena is thinking about how awful Stefan is, Alaric is thinking about how awful Damon is, so they pretty much talk past each other their entire conversation.

With the death of Nick, there is a question of where the Circle can go from here. Not only will the death be a devastation to Melissa, who had a real attachment to him, but does it weaken their magic since they bound the circle and to be complete it requires six? Are they in more danger now because of his death?

A surprise visitor may hold the answers, but it seems he’s bringing with him yet another danger the Circle won’t be prepared for, or see coming!

You know who I love better than Sheldon? Sheldon when his mom is around. And Sheldon’s mom is in rare form this visit, wanting to visit Hollywood and being more un-PC than ever before.

Between giving Penny advice on how to get a guy, Leonard advice on how to keep his girl and Raj advice on how to stop being lonely, she barely has any time for her precious “Shel-y.” But don’t worry, it all works out in the end … and with a special surprise!

Go Bullfrogs!

Original Air Date: Oct 19, 2011

Will – Sr. Reviewer

“Go Bullfrogs!” “I mean go Bulldogs!” This was one of the main themes of tonight’s episode of Modern Family. It is one of those things that you think may be stupid at first but it works into the episode beautifully.

Phil has decided to take Haley back to his old college to prepare Haley for college life. Of course, Haley is embarrassed by her dad(wouldn’t you be too?) It is so funny that after being married to Phil for so long that Claire still is saying “Go Bullfrogs!” It is actually “Go Bulldogs!”
