Britta is having a pre-party before the school’s Halloween party. She tells Jeff that according to the psych tests she had the study group fill out one of their friends is extremely disturbed.

Like a Dorito. A lunatic Cool Ranch Dorito. That’s messed up, y’all.  Doritos be crazy.

Teamwork and leadership are important to any workplace and it’s important to Hunt as well. He’s trying to get a team together for a “friendly” game of softball against Seattle Presbyterian, a team which works like a well-oiled machine, something that SGMW can only hope for.

Hunt, Derek, Little Grey and some others show the most promise, while Meredith and Cristina work on their tan. Some of the others try but they are not working as a team.

April and Andy are throwing a Halloween party at their place and everyone’s invited! The only problem? They didn’t bother telling Ben.

Now he’s stuck in his room all night, trying to get some work done while a rager goes on behind his bedroom door.

Thank God! After a ho-hum episode last week, POI bounces back with an episode that is entertaining from start to finish. Not only are the twists entertaining and less predictable, but also the “M. Elias” mystery starts to unravel a bit. And that’s not even the best part -this week Reese meets…Girl Reese?

And to think I was afraid the only redeemable quality about this week’s episode was going to be that it feels like the only show on television NOT doing a Halloween show. Let’s go to the recap and see how wrong I was!

This episode had such an appropriate title. It was the most literal with Addison’s storyline, but everyone else took steps of their own as well. Of course, not all were in the right direction.

We certainly ran the gamut of emotions tonight. Of course, most of them were Addison’s. But we also got a heartbreaking explosion of feelings from Amelia. Sheldon gave us anger. And Violet, unsurprisingly, gave us righteous indignation.

Ghost World. In which multiple dead people come back because the writers love us. Damon is being led down rabbit holes, Stefan is being derippified—maybe, and Jeremy has girlfriend issues.

Damon wakes up to a hot poker in his chest…because revenge is not so fun. Mason lurks, Stefan half helps before ditching his brother. A fiery round of fry-the-Damon cuts to Carol Lockwood opening YET ANOTHER Founding event. For your guys’ cultural knowledge, Mystic Falls’ “Night of Illumination” falls on the Hindu holiday Diwali (today) which is the festival of lights. I was excited.

This week we have Russ dealing with his daddy issues and Jeff doesn’t want Audrey’s worrying about her test results, to ruin his weekend away. We also have a guest that Adam seems to take a liking to and it even has Jenn a bit worried.

Russ learns that daddy is in town and he is stressing big time about what he will think of his new bride Liz. Dad is as big a sleaze as little Russel as he is ready to e-mail Timmy a naked pic of his young wife. So Russ goes to the salon to get Liz to look like the hot chicks of Mad Men, but is disappointed in the result. Timmy steps up and we learn he grew up around stylists and knows he can do some good to the situation. Damn if he wasn’t right! Liz comes out beautiful! Too bad she has to speak.

American Horror Story – Recap & Review – Halloween, Part 1

American Horror Story
Halloween, Part 1

Original Air Date: Oct 26, 2011

Kym – TwoCents Reviewer

This week we start in the recent past, finally meeting the gay couple that were the last owners before the Harmons. It’s obvious from the start that the house has taken its toll on their relationship. Chad and Patrick are clearly not getting along and Patrick is apparently cheating with his trainer. Their main objective this Halloween is to impress the neighborhood and make some magazine spreads. They are, of course, trying to sell the house so they can go their separate ways. Chad tears into Patrick, telling him to “man up” and clearly shows he’s the dominant one in the relationship. When the “bondage” guy comes in, Chad doesn’t seem surprised and, like Vivien, assumes it’s his partner before being killed – but not in the basement like the realtor had said. Patrick then walks in and that’s the last we see of the gay guys, for now.

Back in the present, the Harmons are meeting with the realtor and discussing the house’s “image problem”.
