Did you know Regan has an assistant at work? Her name is Nancy and, to say the least, she’s not working up to par. With Molly Shannon playing her; you’d think we’d have heard about her before.

Reagan and Chris have also decided to find a babysitter, which hopefully means we’ll see them have more successful date nights out together. But how successful the search itself is might be another story.

Biggest Loser 12 – Recap & Review – Week 9

Biggest Loser 12
Week 9

Original Air Date: November 15, 2011

No more teams! Tonight we go to singles, which the losers love! We have a weeklong challenge and a very touching elimination. I really enjoy these episodes when it’s gets down to just a handful of people. Ali opens the episode by telling the gang that they will be participating in a weeklong pentathlon. And for the first time this season, there will be a yellow line at the weigh-in. The winner of the pentathlon will be granted immunity for the week, but the person who comes in last will be given a 1 pound penalty. That’s not cool!

Event #1 – Merit – Rank the other players based on if they deserve to win Biggest Loser. Results will not be given until the weigh-in. There are lots of strategies here.

Raising Hope – Recap & Review – Burt’s Parents

Raising Hope
Burt’s Parents

OMG, I can’t wait to meet Burt’s parents. Played by Shirley Jones and Lee Majors, which is just plain awesome. The golden son is going to be out of town, so the folks are coming to town. Poor Burt just can’t get it right in his parents eyes, so he’s desperate to make a good impression.

Virginia’s solution? Use someone else’s house! A nice house! Well, the idea does have merit, but this is Chance family we’re talking about.

New Girl – Recap & Review – Thanksgiving

Jess meets a new boy. Another teacher at her school, Paul (Justin Long), who she ill advisedly invites to Thanksgiving dinner at her house. She knows nothing about cooking, and apparently also lacks common sense on how to thaw a turkey, but we’ll add that to her quirkiness. She’s overwhelmed with like for this guy, so this is sure to be entertaining.

It gets better when he arrives, and does a second verse to her little impromptu song. Which prompts to Nick to say “Oh my god, there’s two of them.” Perfection.

So this week’s episode was kind of boring. I mean, it featured illegal car racing, escorting, & political intrigue and I was still looking at the clock wondering how much longer until it was over. The season’s been a complete mess basically, but if it were an entertaining mess perhaps I wouldn’t be looking to see how much time’s left.

Read on for tonight’s character breakdown.

Covert Affairs
A Girl Like You

Original Air Date: Nov 15, 2011

Karen – Sr Staff Writer Karen@thetwocentscorp.com

Eyal Lavine is back, and the chemistry between him and Annie is palpable. Most of this episode is about Annie and Eyal and we learn a lot more about our Mossad agent and soon we are falling for him just like Annie.

In another storyline we have Auggie and Parker and things seem to be moving quite quickly if you ask me. Auggie does something that surprises the audience, so let’s get started on what happened with our favorite spies…..

Glee – Recap & Review – Mash Off

Alyssa Silva – Sr Reviewer

If you watch this episode, the last five minutes encapsulates everything good that Glee was back in the day.

The rest of the hour was entirely predicated on inappropriate student-teacher relations, the equation of dodgeball with bullying, and the fumbling towards maturity of Puck-fasa.

This week with 90 minutes worth of blood, violence and weapons is sure to be a great week just watching the preview!

Last week we left off with a lot of stories that are finally starting to fall into place. Juice has officially become a rat. Gemma knows for sure now that Clay cannot be saved. Tara’s hand is pretty much gone after the mexicans attempted to abduct her. Jax seems even more conflicted now that Tara is like this, and because he saw what the freedom of not having his cut on can bring. Lets see what happens this week!

Parenthood – Recap & Review – Sore Loser

After the emotional heaviness of the Seth story arc, this episode was the perfect balance of humor and emotion. In fact, I’m going to say right now, that this was my favorite Joel and Julia story to date. As opposed to the bickering and baby-focus we’ve seen in the past, tonight we had them come together for a common cause, Sydney.

Before we get to the breakdown of the stories, I want to make sure everyone heard that NBC announced the season finale is set to air February 28, 2012. We’re getting a lot of episodes in a row, so the season isn’t too shortened, episode-count-wise. I just hope that come May renewals, the folks in charge at NBC remember our beloved Braverman family.

Hawaii Five-O – Recap & Review – Ike Maka

So at this point I’m thinking were not going to get the friendly resolution we wanted with Kono and the guys. That upsets me a little, but maybe the show has more secrets to reveal. I’m sure it does. Okay, so to the action! The HPD is chasing a nice vintage muscle car when they end up in the shipyard. The car disappears and they crack open some containers to find more nice vintage muscle cars…and a dead body.

At McG’s house, Danny can’t sleep without the TV, and Steve can’t sleep with it on. So Danny sleeping on Steve’s couch, and their friendly banter has an edge to it. I can’t blame them, it’s hard to live with people you like.
