This week’s Modern Family featured a little more “clowning around” than usual.
One of the families in the neighborhood has gone through the tragedy of a house fire and the family tries to come through for the community; however, there are still plenty of laughs and good times to be had as misunderstandings ensue in the Dunphy and Pritchett households.

Loosing hope is devastating in any case, hope is what keeps people going even at the worst of times.
In her spare time Garcia counsels people who have lost a loved one. Doing this type of work, next to her work at the FBI, is in stark contrast with the bubbly kind of person she is. But she loves to help people and Garcia wouldn’t be herself if she couldn’t do it. She has known these people in her group for years, she knows their stories and one of the women in the group is clearly upset.

Finally it feels like the show has started. We’re “down” to 16 cheftestants instead of four score and 7 or whatever we started with.
The show gets underway by using two elements of the Texas locale: rattlesnakes (although, rattlesnakes live in lots of other states) and quinceañeras (the celebration of a girls’ 15th birthday).

In every season, there’s one time where people who aren’t in control of the game can make a move. People on the bottom of an alliance can join with the last remaining players from outside of their alliance and topple the player who is in charge.
This is that time. Albert and Sophie are those people. Did they make the move? Or is Coach’s grip on the tribe too strong?

Here we go again after a break from The Middle, the show is back in full force this week and it is all about Sue and Frankie. As you might expect, Sue is having trouble making anything even though she is now in high school. One of my favorite parts is how the show starts out with Sue laying by the front door with her lacrosse equipment on and Frankie and Mike both ask her if she kept the tag on it so they can take it back! Before we took a week off, things were heating up around the Hamptons. Emily and Daniel said they loved each other, Victoria kicked Conrad out, Tyler and Ashley realized they both are fighting to climb the social ladder, Lydia was waking up from her coma, and the real Emily Thorne killed Frank and showed up on our Emily’s doorstep.

It’s still 1994 in the opening flashback this week and Tate’s “incident” has opened a whole can of worms for Constance. The authorities have discovered her other son, Beau, and are planning on taking him away and charging her with criminal child neglect. Larry is there with her, obviously before being burned, to comfort her. Seems they’ve got something going on because she asks him to “take care” of things. We follow Larry to the attic and discover a very malformed boy chained up there. Yeah, I’d call that criminal child neglect. I already thought Constance was a sad excuse for a mother after the incident with Addie and the mirror room, but she’s worse than I thought. Larry’s there to smother the boy. He loves Constance enough to kill for her. How are they NOT in prison?
In the present day, we catch up with Ben and Vivien at the doctor’s for the results of the amniocentesis.

It’s rock week. Sort of. Most of the remaining acts aren’t rockers. And it showed.
The judges got much more argumentative, but that doesn’t compare to how they tore several of the contestants down. A few seemed close to tears. We also got a more up close and personal look at contestants, which I enjoyed. I can’t say the same for all the performances.

Tonight’s episode delves into issues of mental health and how those with mental issues are typically viewed in the eye of the law. In this case, the views are strong enough to turn said eyes away from rape accusations.
A guy runs naked through a park, possibly suffering very negative effects from some kind of drug. When he’s left alone in the hospital, he witnesses a girl being raped and yells for help that doesn’t come.
