To say that tonight’s elimination was shocking is to undersell it. But it wasn’t just the elimination that left the audience with its disbelieving jaw on the ground. Oh no…

I have to admit that my DVR blipped on me, so I missed Rihanna’s performance. Did you like it? I was looking forward to it.

Being a spy means doing things you don’t want to, but do anyway because it has to be done regardless. Last week saw Michael complete Anson’s request and delete his digital footprint from the CIA database, while at the same time locating Anson’s base of operations.

This week we get a further glimpse into Anson’s grip of Michael’s life, and the CIA deems Sam and Jesse worthy enough to send on an undercover mission with Michael on point.

I’ll come right out and say it: I loved this week’s episode. I was wondering where we’d go after having two weeks to ponder our last new episode where Reese and Finch finally meet up with the criminal Elias. Surely, it would be too soon to bring Elias back. So would we end up with just a cookie-cutter episode?

Not at all. The Elias saga gets put on the back burner as Alan Dale, who has more recurring TV characters than Elias has victims (think 24, Lost, The OC…and many more), steps in as Ulrich Kohl, a former member of the Stasi, East Germany’s secret police force, during the 1980’s. So what we have this week are two professional killers – Reese and Kohl – going head to head. The results are satisfying on a number of levels.

I went into tonight’s “Two Hour Event: The Intervention” wondering if it would be groundbreaking television or if it would be a Lifetime Movie. Luckily, I like both. Because, let’s be honest. We got a bit of both tonight.

There’s a lot of ground to cover, so why don’t we tackle on hour at a time. And, of course, if I miss anything you feel was huge or you disagree with me, be sure to take to the comments and let me know!

Firstly, thanks to Will for doing a great job covering last week’s The Treaty for me!

This week, Leslie and Ben’s friendship comes to a crossroads and it’s not good. Ben is ready to never see her again while Leslie is desperate to keep any semblance of camaraderie between them alive. Andy embarks on a new, academic path while Tom gets back into his groove at City Hall.

Here we are, down to the final five. As far as I’m concerned, we just need to lose Dominique and Angelea and we’ll be good to go. I’m rooting mainly for Laura, but I’d be ok with Lisa or Allison, too. But of course, Dom and Ang think they are better than everyone else, including each other. Dominique wants to go all the way for her kids and everyone thinks that Angelea needs more self-confidence. I can see where they are coming from, she doesn’t always seem to believe what she says about herself.

Tyra Mail!Tomorrow you’ll meet with the judges… Fierce & Love, Tyra
