So I don’t really have that much to say about tonight’s episode. The show sort of lends itself to being a procedural you can watch while you’re doing chores around the house or something, not really a water cooler type serial that you just can’t wait to dissect and read theories about. There’s nothing wrong with not wanting to be that type of show, but if the show insists on being that way then they can at least try to grow upon their strengths instead of staying stagnant.

So read on for tonight’s recap.

For me, Adam stole the show with the wild outfits he wears and the trust he puts in a salesman, that we are lead to believe, to be a friend to Adam’s. Oliver Hudson plays dumb so well that I am cracking up just at the appearance of him on the screen.

As for Jeff, he tells us of a new phone app he downloaded that will automatically send you to the persons voicemail so that you don’t have to talk to them. Oh boy, you know this won’t end well.

We start out this week on “comic” night. Sheldon’s clearly trying to encourage Amy’s interest, and failing miserably, and the other guys are doing their usual chatting over the stacks and showing how geeky they truly are when, even after thoroughly slamming an obvious “Magic: The Gathering” knockoff game, they each end up buying it. More importantly than any of this though, Stuart approached Amy and gleaned she might be interested, or at least not disgusted. He’s asked the guys to find out if Sheldon would mind if he asks her out. Sticky, sticky.

We know Amy would like a more physical relationship than she’s getting from Sheldon, but how would her emotions factor in? More significantly, would Sheldon be able to go further if not doing so would cause him to lose Amy?

Yippee! Daisy is back and she did not disappoint! I couldn’t have been happier to finally see her after a long M.I.A. The best part was watching how turned on she gets with Sweets as he talks about carrying a gun…yes carrying a gun.

We also have Temp worried about not being able to connect to the baby when it comes to playtime. She tries to understand how play is important in raising a child. Let’s get started…

Tonight we got to see a little insight into Mac’s thinking process. How does he come to his conclusions? Apparently, by telling his priest long stories in the confessional. In a stained wife beater. While eating pizza, M&M’s, and chips. Oh, where do I begin? This is another great episode. It’s all over the place, but it’s supposed to be.

It’s 12:20pm on a Sunday, Mac enters the confessional at church and confesses to the priest that he is fat. He then proceeds to ask God to smite his friends for making him fat, those sinners and pricks. Here is the story as he tells it…

On this week’s episode we start out by seeing our victim while she was still alive. She’s hanging out at a very busy night club, clearly trying to catch the attention of a slick-looking man she called “Omar”. Things seem to be going well until she gets a clearly upsetting text message and starts hurrying out of the club, continuing a conversation by text. Even the unidentified girl trying to follow her can’t keep up. She gets out to the street and to the deserted area around her parked car and bang – shot from behind, two to the head.

A short time later, Lisbon and Jane arrive at the scene, wondering why they’d been called in for a seemingly tragic, but all too common, shooting outside of a night club. But this shooting is anything but common.

Gabe leads an ethics seminar and it’s so boring that Pam fakes going into labor. This is also not the first time she’s faked labor by the way so everyone tells Jim and Pam to sit it back down. They make their way back to their seats when Pam’s water breaks! They only get caught because the water bottle Pam was holding with her thighs falls out on the floor. D’oh!

Andy calls sales war and wants to take the office staff on a field trip to Gettysburg to inspire them. He’s hired a charter bus and a good-sized group heads out wearing their bright pink “DM does GB” ball caps. The group just wants to watch Limitless on the bus TV.

Greendale’s promo is super lame and dated but it has Captain Awesome from Chuck in it. Woo for internetwork crossovers! He shills for Buy More and for Greendale? What a corporate sellout. Dean Pelton asks the study group for helping in filming a new commercial. Abed films a documentary about the promo creation simultaneously.

Annie is the script supervisor and Dean is the director. Jeff has taken on the role of Dean Pelton with the intention of sabotage. He’s in a bald cap and he is spot on. Awesome. Joel McHale is much more than a pretty face, ya’ll.
