Dead & Buried

This week’s case is a 14-year-old girl whose anaphylactic shock episode has stumped other doctors. Iris had an allergic reaction during her 14th birthday party while opening up a Magic 8 ball gift. House doesn’t want to take this case, he’d rather work on a case with a dead patient.

Chase was supposedly at the dentist but Park notices he has a fresh manicure. She wants to know where he was. Turns out, Chase is now a TV doctor playing up a very thick and put on Australian accent.  It’s both adorable and sad.

Gossip Girl – Recap & Review –All the Pretty Sources

After last week’s not so great episode, Gossip Girl was back in fine form, wasn’t it? It is kind of fitting, since it is Blair’s shower!

As usual, a lot of things went down at the party, from Louis’s terrible acting not getting any better, to the best Dan scenes we have had in a while. Dan as a drunk is the best! Also, Charlie is in big trouble again and the Diana storyline seems to be winding down a bit…Thank God!

Castle – Recap & Review – Killshot

Killshot

I have to start out by saying that I have very mixed feelings about Stana Katic’s performance in this episode. The way Beckett’s scars – emotional and physical – are presented in order to develop her character are great. I loved that she seemed to have a connection to the sniper. However, I wonder if it was absolutely necessary to keep including acid trip flash backs to last season’s finale? There were a few shots of Stana and I could tell by the look on her face that she was feeling traumatized. It seemed way less cliché than all the dizzied/blurred images.

The episode opens on two women chatting as they walk down the street. One of them is getting married soon. Suddenly, she is dead. Shot cleanly in the heart. All her finace can offer is that she claimed she was being stalked. In Lanie’s lab, she and Esposito double team to dance around the term “sniper”, hoping to protect Beckett. At that point she seems fine, but at home in her apartment she examines the small scar between her breasts.

Tonight’s episode should really be called “The Rebound Bro”. It would be a far more accurate representation of the main developing relationship. Specifically, Ted and Barney’s. You know you want it.

Meanwhile, Lily and Marshall look to make a major change in their lives as parenthood approaches and Robin yells a lot about that change, but doesn’t do a whole lot else. Or, at least, we think she doesn’t…

Speedos. Not something we see often on Amazing Race. Also something we don’t see often? Phil taking his shirt off. Both of these things happen tonight. And one of them is totally worth a second look.

It’s been a few seasons since the game has changed up for the racers and tonight we see one leg, two detours, three countries and a road block. FHEW. That’s a lot of stuff. Oh and a team loses their train tickets! Add that to the speedos and shirtless Phil and it’s one busy leg!

So, with that, I give you the top five things I learned from The Amazing Race – Season 19

I’ve pretty much decided that any child who lives through a zombie apocalypse is going to be messed up. Carl is beginning to prove my theory with his very unchildlike, matter-of-fact view of life and death. While feeding chickens with his mom, he observes that everything is just food for something else. How right you are, Carl. Patricia takes a bag of those very same chickens (which she has hobbled) and feeds them to the walkers in the barn.

Perhaps it’s not just the kids who are going to be messed up.
