I would love to continue my tirade against Nicole, especially as they show clips of poor Rachel sobbing last week. The producers try to repair the damage, but I think they’re attempting the impossible.

So here we are, after months of auditions and cuts, at the semi-finals. Each contestant gets to sing two songs, one of which the audience has chosen. The important thing here is that the judges no longer have a vote. Their words might influence votes, but they don’t get a real vote.

Maria – Sr. Reviewer

A Marine is urgently looking for a place to stay on Christmas Eve. He is finally able to secure a hotel room. Just when it finally looks as though he’s able to settle, he walks out and is shot multiple times, by guns with silencers; definitely a pro job. It doesn’t end there though. Whilst our NCIS Agents are at the scene, the phone rings. Gibbs answers, and there’s a female voice on the other end of the line. She knows the man is dead, and she’s afraid she’ll be next!

The Biggest Loser 12
Finale

Original Air Date: Dec 13, 2011

Anne – Associate Editor

Well, here we are, the finale for Season 12 of The Biggest Loser. They do things a little different this season and I’m not sure I liked it as much. We also got to see some previews for what’s in store for season 13, which starts in three weeks. Yes, 3. First up for tonight, we are treated to a live performance of the new theme song, “Brand New Book”, by Train. Now, I don’t like Train and my favorite theme song will always be “Proud” by Heather Smalls. But it was a nice performance.

Now it’s time for the review of the season and we get a sneak peak of the final three behind screens. Then the trainers are introduced and it’s time for the At-Home prize. Here we go…

Glee – Recap & Review – Extraordinary Merry Christmas

Glee
Extraordinary Merry Christmas

Original Air Date: Dec 13, 2011

Len – Two Cents Reviewer

Heya everyone! I’ll be filling in for Alyssa the rest of the season, so what better season to start than Christmas? Remember Christmas as a little kid, when your parents told you that you had to get to bed early or Santa wouldn’t come? So you laid off the caffeine and sweets for an evening and hunkered down for a long evening’s nap?

Well what if you couldn’t control yourself? What if all those visions of sugar plums and such-and-such were dancing so much that you couldn’t contain the excitement and you cracked open a 6-pack of Coke and ate all the festively shaped cinnamon-button nosed reindeer cookies Mom just made? If you’ve experienced that mad sugar rush, then you probably can understand what tonight’s episode felt like. We run the gamut from schmaltzy (learning the true meaning of Christmas) to brilliant (the New Directions TV special) to just plain weird (Sue Sylvester taking the moral high road?).

Clicky the link and check out the review of tonight’s mostly solid episode! On Hudson, on Puck, on Quinn and on Berry! On Chang and on Abrams, and Emma Pillsbury!

Got to love that theme music!! So we all think that Kono is on her way out the door, and that whatever may or may not be going on with Steve and Lori is not something we want to have happen. Yes? Okay, then onto the episode at hand, because only time will tell if the writers will bend to our will!

The cast of The Goonies is about to start down the cave of stupidity when they find a dead body. Everyone knows that twelve year-old boys are perfectly capable of handling that kind of thing, so get themselves out of the closed cave, and report it to somebody, who then tells 5O.

Poor Schmidt, he’s Jewish and gets lonely when everyone else goes home for Christmas. Jess has given the boys roller skates, which they are wearing, which is actually hilariously awesome. The boys are sweet, even if they don’t want to get caught doing it.

Jess drags them all to the mall to help her pick out a gift for Paul. And then drags them down Candy Cane in the middle of the day. All before Schmidt’s office party.

Raising Hope – Recap & Review – It’s a Hopeful Life

It’s a Hopeful Life

Original Air Date: Feb 14, 2011

Rachel M – Senior Staff Writer

The Chance’s are at the movies, when a trailer comes on that is basically their life story. It’s even called “The Chances of Natesville.” Turns out, Lucy’s family (the dead serial killer mom of Hope) sold the rights to the story. But since Lucy is dead and therefore not very interesting, the production company has made the movie about the Chances. Making them look like complete idiots.

They are all pretty upset, especially when he sees all his friends in line to see the movie. So Jimmy gets drunk. He makes a wish, that he had never picked up Lucy, and falls over and passes out. When he wakes up…
