Holy cow it’s 2012! Happy New Year everybody! As an extra special gift to us, H5O starts off the new year with a new episode! The opening bit with the band on the beach makes me super jealous! I want to be on a beach somewhere! Anyway, some teenagers go to drag their friend down to the beach and find her dead.

Joe and Steve are still really mad at each other. And Chin decides to step in the middle as a friend and a cop, about the death of the guy Joe kidnapped. Oy, this is getting complicated. πŸ˜› But Joe swears he’s innocent, even with multiple trips to Japan and being super shady.

Two and a Half Men – Recap & Review – Slowly and in a Circular Fashion

Slowly and in a Circular Fashion

Original Air Date: Jan 2, 2012

Welcome back to Two and a Half Men and 2012! Many of us make resolutions for the new year and I was hoping the writers of the show made a resolution to make this show better. If this episode was any indication, they slept through the holiday completely and woke up on a whole other planet where they think their show is actually funny.

For a quick recap, last time we left the Schimdt/Harper clan, Walden’s mother came to visit (and Alan wanted to bed her but it never happened), Bridget got upset over Walden having a new girlfriend (so she drove her car through the house) and Walden decided Zoe is β€œthe real deal.”

It’s been a while since the last episode of HIMYM. You may remember the emotional way it ended. Thankfully, it’s 2012 and time for some refreshing happiness, yes? Well, Marshall spends the day at his dad’s grave, so…

See, every year the two of them would spend the day tailgating at the Vikings/Bears game. Now Marshall is bringing the game to his dad’s resting spot- and telling him about the gang’s New Year’s Eve while he’s at it.

So You Think You Can Dance Results Show Has Been Axed

So You Think You Can Dance’s results show is a thing of the past. According to co-creator and judge Nigel Lythgoe, Fox has pulled the plug on the results show.

On his twitter account Sunday, he wrote “#FOX have cancelled the results show so I will have to change the format of #SYTYCD. At least we have another season at the end of MAY.”

Look for changes in format to the show when it returns this summer for its ninth season, which was picked up in October. In the mean time, the show begins its search for its top dancer this Thursday in Atlanta.

Chuck – Recap & Review – Chuck Versus the Baby

Tonight we get more of a glimpse into Sarah’s past. You know the past? Back when colors were muted and everything looked all weird. We did get some nice cameos from the late Director Candyman at the end of the episode, and a visit from Tim DeKay, who just so happens is on another little program called White Collar with none other than Bryce Larkin, but more on that later.

We see back into Sarah’s past when she was working in Budapest with her then-handler Ryker (Tim DeKay). She’s ordered to enter a house and take out a cadre of baddies and intercept a β€œpackage” they are holding. She takes out the men in a Matrix-y montage and rushes off to find the package is actually a very cute baby. The baby is some kind of heiress whose parents were killed. Sarah realizes that with the baby’s parents gone, Ryker intends on disposing of the β€œpackage” and collecting the inheritance himself. She grabs the baby and guns blazing, escapes to find a safe house.

#10 Law & Order SVU
Delinquent
Original Air Date: May 11, 2011
Caitlin- Associate Staff Writer
caitlin@thetwocentscorp.com

For many shows, the episode before a season finale is either filler or a collection of plot points to get us into the last episode of the season. Clearly, though, SVU’s writers want to make sure to expect just about anything to happen anytime in the season.

A woman brings a man up to her apartment and finds a 14-year-old kid asleep in her bed. She says he was trying to rape her, he says he was just drunk. Generally, though, drunken youth don’t sneak into women’s bedrooms with knives.

Trying to remember back for the entire year is a daunting task, but that’s why I get paid the big bucks.

Anyway – here are the KPonTV Awards for 2011. Please feel free to state your agreements or disagreements in the comments below, after all, that’s what TheTwoCents is here for!
