Last week we started right back where we left off at the end of the second season. Wee see Raylan in the hospital as he is trying to start mending from being shot. Ava is also on the mend from when Dickie shot her. Boyd is out for revenge against Dickie and is mad since Raylan did not hand him over.

By the end of last week, we have a good idea of what this season is progressing towards. There is destined to be a lot of blood, violence and of course some great Boyd and Raylan scenes to go along with everything. Lets see what happened this week.

The excuse of the week is “I don’t have time to go to the gym”. How many of us have used that excuse? Or that we can’t afford a gym membership? I know that I have. Many times. Tonight one of the teams is forced to prove that you can indeed lose weight without expensive gym equipment.

Tonight’s episode was only one hour due to the President’s State of the Union Address. So they didn’t waste any time jumping right in to the action. I’m not going to either. Here we go…

Everything is quiet and peaceful. Everything seems to be right. Something very bad had to be about to happen, yes? Of course it had. Are you ready to pursue this new case? I know I am!

Meet Kit Nelson. Known in Alcatraz as the child killer, he was used and abused by his inmates, the guards turning their backs on him, not acknowledging the violence till death whispered in their ears, threatening to take him. No, they were told, he had to survive for death would be too much of a soft punishment. He deserved to suffer… that was his fate.

Let the flashbacks begin.

So in last week’s episode of 90210, Naomi was running an event for Rachel and got fired, Vanessa and Liam got together while Annie tried to get Liam to see he was sleeping with the enemy, and Ivy and Nick got into a fight and made up. This week, the writers pretty much repeated those storylines, only with slight changes.

So come in and embrace 90210’s mediocrity with me with my weekly character breakdown.

White Collar – Recap & Review – Upper West Side Story

White Collar
Upper West Side Story

I love when Peter goes undercover, but I love it more when he and Neal go undercover together, whether intentional or not. This week we get the latter and a great bad guy to boot, with some tense moments and Neal and Mozzie working together again, but this time on a love story.

As Neal and Peter work together on the case, Neal also spends the better part of the episode sucking up to Peter and showing he’s still valuable on a case. In fact, the episode opens with Neal trying to bribe Peter with a pair of amazing Yankee/Red Sox tickets. Peter immediately brings Neal back to all the lying about the treasure and such while Neal says he’s sorry about Elizabeth.

Every episode of Switched At Birth is named after a work of art. Usually I can Google the title and find the art. Sometimes I can draw a link from the title to the imagery of the episode. But this week, I am stumped. The closest I came in my search was Gabrielle d’Estrées et une de ses sœurs, of which I saw no correlation. Have you any ideas?

Last week was greatly about Emmett and Bay and Melody, and the tensions between the three. This week is largely about Emmett, but he’s barely onscreen for the entire hour. But what we got in its place was a deeper exploration of the growing relationship between Bay and Daphne, and the shift in their dynamic within their families. So let’s get down to business…

Two Cents & Five Questions with Tim DeKay (White Collar)

Tim DeKay, Actor

White Collar returned last week with an amazing episode and great start for the second half of season three. Tim DeKay plays Agent Peter Burke, who in that episode dealt with a kidnapped wife and Neal Caffrey lying to him for the first time.

I had the pleasure to speak with Tim recently about the future of Neal and Peter’s relationship, his first time directing an episode, and what to expect the rest of the season and beyond.

TheTwoCents: Now that Peter knows about Neal and the treasure and lying about it, how will this change their relationship for the future? What can we expect in the latter half of season three leading up to the probation hearing?
