Quote of the week “You out-crazied a man with a gun.” Awesome. So Jess is pretty used to getting her way. She’s pretty, has a nice smile and is obnoxiously nice. So of course, while Nick is anti-everyone and everything, she magically makes things happen. This week, it’s charming the landlord.

Okay, admittedly this guy is scary. But she works her magic, of course.

A mobster is killed in Atlantic City, a mobster! That sounds like a good start for a story, but was it? That is the big question here, isn’t it.

Since a mobsters murder could start a killing spree between families the situation could potentially turn volatile very quickly. The BAU is called in rather quickly after the first murder – which seems kind of surprising to me – because wouldn’t that be a case for Organized Crime or something like that?

That would be my guess seeing how they first suspected that the murder was mob related.

This season is already three episodes in, each with a theme. This week’s theme is “identity.” What makes us who we are? Being a cop, being a marine, being a mother? In SouthLAnd style, the show answers all those questions.

“LAPD officers spend every shift trying to help people who often don’t even know they need help. Some days the trying works better than others.”

White Collar – Recap & Review – Pulling Strings

Pulling Strings

Jules – News Editor

This week Peter takes a back seat in the case of the week and lets Neal take a lead, but not really because he’s working with his ex, Sara, who returns after a few episodes away. Peter gets to deal with his in-laws, Diana gets used to something new, and we see the return of Agent Kramer.

Sara’s enlisted the help of the FBI because she thinks her boss, Bryan McKenzie, is the one behind a missing expensive violin, the Stradivarius. They have only the weekend to crack the case and since Peter is busy with Elizabeth’s birthday and her parents, he hands the case off to Neal, but Sara is the boss.

Glee – Recap & Review – The Spanish Teacher

Just like Santana, I want to lodge a complaint with someone over tonight’s episode of Glee. Sure, they weren’t really trying to be offensive (or were they?) but if you were Hispanic or Latino and didn’t feel at least the tiniest bit insulted by Mr Schue, then I think we were watching completely different shows.

But there was a shining, perfectly aligned light at the end of this stereotypical tunnel: Ricky friggin’ Martin as the sexiest Spanish teacher (or man period) in the world.

Last week we were left with many more questions that we did not really need. This season has given us a lot of questions and not a whole lot of answers thus far. Hopefully this will be able to pick up a pace and at least catch up to the caliber of story that they had going last season.

This week we have all of these different story lines that we need to go through with all of our main and underlying characters. After Harlan Roulette it is going to be interesting to see how they follow that up. Lets dig in.

It’s hard to believe, but it’s been three weeks since our last episode of Parenthood. And after tonight, there are only three more episodes left in the season. It’s unbelievable that we can get so many episodes of subpar television, but quality programming like this has such a short season. Let’s all keep our fingers, toes, and eyes crossed for a fourth season.

It’s somewhat of a sparse episode tonight. We have all of our siblings, but we don’t see any of Adam’s family, Zeek, or Drew. Once again, we have a quiet hour of understated storytelling that still manages to pack more of a wallop than much of its competition. So let’s get reviewing…
