Grimm
Goodnight, Sweet Grimm

Original Air Date: May 21, 2013

Wyner C – Senior Reviewer

“And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.”

Crazed Zombies are creating havoc in Portland, Grimm – destroying property, whacking people, acting like they’re on bath salts. If they were in NYC, they’d fit right in – next to the crazy man who, every weekend, loudly hurl insults at no one on the subway. We’re a bunch of nuts here in the City but we draw the line when it comes to the (Not)Dead – Portland, Grimm has a leg up on that craziness.

Case of the week: Zombified civilians terrorizing Portland, Grimm; doing the bidding of their voodoo master: a Cracher-Mortel aka Baron Samedi aka Top Hat. Baron is working for Eric, Renard’s royal brother who so happens to be in Portland, Grimm.

Tonight is the night! This is the second part to the finals! For those of us who have been fans throughout the season, this is the night we have been waiting for. At the end of the two hour finale, there will be one couple standing and they will win the coveted mirror ball trophy.

I love the finale shows. They are one big party and they bring back all the cast members from this season, celebrity and professional. We are able to see if and how the couples that were voted off in the previous weeks may have improved since they left the show. What do you love most about the finale shows?

Colonel Mustard in the library with a candlestick! Tonight’s episode of Revolution involved a murder mystery (actually, two murders) and will end with a somewhat surprising reveal of a traitor in Miles’ crew.

We start off with Monroe “politely” trying to get Nora to divulge where Miles is. He has given her a fancy white dress and invited her to a fancy dinner. She refuses. She is tortured for 21 days. At first, there is some waterboarding, but it progresses to drugging her with some type of hallucinogen. Sanborn, one of Flynn’s scientists is the one to drug Nora. Nora eventually tells them that Miles is in Atlanta, Tom Neville has betrayed Monroe, and Rachel Matheson is heading toward Colorado to reach the Tower.

Tonight is the first part of the finals for this season of Dancing With The Stars. This is first of the nights that we have all been waiting for. Each of the remaining couples: Karina & Jacoby, Val & Zendaya, Kellie & Derek and Aly & Mark will have the chance to dance THREE dances this evening. After they dance, the viewers will have one more last chance to vote for their favorite couple. Will your favorite couple bring their “A Game” and win the coveted mirror ball trophy tomorrow night? We are about to see them all dance their hearts out one last time….

At the top of the show, we find out that Val had been injured an hour previous to show time during the last rehearsal. He has nasty gashes, on his face, but he is all patched up and ready to go. How do you think this will affect his and Zendaya’s performance tonight? Or will they be able to get past it?

Mad Men
The Crash

Original Air Date: May 19, 2013

Ryan O – Staff Writer

This was a drug episode. It was unsettling and unnerving. Additionally, the episode portrays Don as a victim in a few different ways that might serve as a counterweight to last week’s portrayal of Don as a supreme dillhole.

Also, a lot of weird stuff happened, some of it drug-related, some not. Don has some serious flashbacks to his time as a teenager in the whorehouse.

The BBC has ordered an eighth season of Doctor Who.

According to the BBC, executive producer Steven Moffat is already “plotting a brand new run of adventures for the Doctor.” But season 8 isn’t all that show fans have to look forward to. On November 23, Doctor Who will celebrate it’s 50th anniversary with a special starring Matt Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman joined by David Tennant, Billie Piper, John Hurt, Jemma Redgrave, and Joanna Page.

The festivities continue later this year with An Adventure in Space and Time, a TV-movie about the genesis of the long-running series, and the annual Christmas special in December.
