You know that feeling you get when you get on a plane and see there’s going to be a baby traveling with you? Well, Chris and Reagan do as well. That’s why they’ve decided not to fly with Amy until she’s older.

As you can probably guess, though, that decision only lasts so long. Ava’s been ordained as a minister online and is going to be marrying a mutual friend of theirs. That’s worth the pains of air travel, right? …Right?

The Office – Recap & Review – Tallahassee

The Office
Tallahassee

Original Air Date: Feb 16, 2012

Shannon – Associate Editor
shannon@thetwocentscorp.com

Dwight is in Tallahassee with his team. He wakes everyone up by storming into their hotel rooms and yelling at them. Jim is still on the two little kids sleep schedule and was awake by 4 am with nothing to do. Now, we all know that an idle Jim is a pranky Jim.

Jim stages a very clever tableau with a sheet ladder off the balcony, a briefcase full of money, and a note written on the wall saying “It was Dwight”. When Dwight bursts into Jim’s room and sees the set up he totally buys it and starts flipping out. Meanwhile, Jim was hiding in the closet and falls out onto the floor playing dead. This part was the single most awesome moment I can remember on this show in a long time. Well done, writers!

Parks and Recreation – Recap & Review – Dave Returns

Parks and Recreation
Dave Returns

It seems as if Tom and Ann’s Valentine’s Day date went well, judging from how obsessed Tom is at the moment. He greets her with pet names and rap songs, with Ann’s only reaction being to tell him he needs to be cool about this whole situation and back off a little bit. “Being cool” to Tom apparently means changing his Facebook status to “It’s Complicated.”

Leslie is still looking for campaign endorsements and she has her eyes set on the retiring police chief. However, a familiar face from her past pops up in Pawnee, causing trouble for her relationship with Ben.

30 Rock – Recap & Review – The Tuxedo Begins

30 Rock
The Tuxedo Begins

Original Air Date: Feb 16, 2012

Valentina D. – Senior Reviewer
valentina@thetwocentscorp.com

30 Rock has always treated New York City itself as a sort of “character” over the course of its run and we’ve been introduced to so many comical situations that only make sense when they’re thrown up against the backdrop of NYC. Liz and Jack discover they have different views of the city they call home, but Jack is spooked when he gets caught in a bad situation.

Paul returns from a lengthy absence and Jenna is thrilled, but the usually weird and unpredictable couple seems to be getting more and more normal as the days go by. Does “normal” even suit these two?

Private Practice – Recap & Review – You Break My Heart

Private Practice
You Break My Heart

Welcome to part two of the Grey’s Anatomy/Private Practice crossover extravaganzas! If you missed the Grey’s portion, you can read about it here. But overall, the appearance of Derek and Lexie was pretty minimal. It was more like a guest spot, than a story line that will have far reaching consequences for the two Grey’s actors.

In addition to the Seattle visit, we had plenty else going on this hour. We got a lot more depth in the Sam/Corrine story. Violet and Pete did not make me violently ill. And Addison and Jake finally had a conversation about their unbelievable chemistry, that didn’t end up being about Sam.

Have You Seen Me Lately?

Welcome to part one of the Grey’s Anatomy/Private Practice crossover extravaganzas! Or, as it’s more accurately now known, Amelia Comes To Seattle. You can click here for the Private Practice recap/review , but for now, let’s take care of what happened at Seattle Grace/Mercy West.

For some reason, this hour felt a little… cluttered to me. We had three patients beyond the Amelia visit and we also had Owen and Cristina’s marital woes. I feel like one of the patient storylines (and the lesson learned with it) could have been saved for another episode. But let’s cover what went down, and then let me know what your TwoCents are!

Person of Interest – Recap & Review – Blue Code

Person of Interest
Blue Code

Original Air Date: Feb 16, 2012

Len – Senior Reviewer
len@thetwocentscorp.com

If you just watched tonight’s episode, you were probably left with a lot of questions – namely “What just happened?”, “What was that girl’s name, again?”, and “So that guy was working for the other guy but then they decided to do away with him or something?” And that was just after the first ten minutes.

Tonight had to be a new record for amount of double-crosses in a CBS drama. There were undercover people, bad cops, bad super cops, even a bad guy who once played Robocop. As Agent Snow says in one of tonight’s flashbacks, “Don’t forget you’re behind enemy lines.” That could be applied to everyone in tonight’s episode.

And it’s especially fitting for Reese, who finds himself infiltrating a smuggling ring, and Detective Fusco, whose days of being a total good-guy cop look like they could be in jeopardy. So just who can you trust in this topsy-turvy world of POI? Only me, dear reader. And my review, which is always loaded. Click the link and let’s recap this thing! And be sure to post your TwoCents in the comments at the end!

American Idol – Recap & Review – Group Round

American Idol
Group Round

Original Air Date: Feb 15, 2012

Patricia Morris Buckley — Sr. Staff Writer
pmb@thetwocentscorp.com

I think that Idol has finally bowed to peer pressure to move as quickly as other singing reality shows. Case in point, Wednesday’s episode contained what would have been three episodes last year: Group Round, Solo Round and the Deep Cut. The number of contestants went from 189 to approximately 75 — in two short hours!

Along the way we got contestants forgetting words, lot of them getting sick and some fainting, a strange on-air apology from one contestant to another, an impromptu performance from Steven and Randy with contestants and, of course, plenty of broken hearts. And we didn’t even get to see all the groups perform.

Law & Order: SVU
Home Invasions

Original Air Date: Feb 15, 2012

Caitlin – Staff Writer
caitlin@thetwocentscorp.com

We’ve often had character development on SVU through the detectives’ connections to cases. Amanda gets a turn here, though by the end of this episode, it might be difficult to remember just what that connection was.

A woman opens the door of her home to be shot dead. The shooter kills her husband as well, and leaves their daughter shot in the head. Her boyfriend and his father show up, the former blaming the latter for what happened.

Hot In Cleveland – Recap & Review – Lost Loves

Hot in Cleveland
Lost Loves

Original Air Date: Feb 15, 2012

Karen – Sr Staff Writer
Karen@thetwocentscorp.com

We all wonder about the one crush/love that got away and what if….what if we reconnected? Would it be like old times?

Well, it is Valentine’s Day in Cleveland and the girls are sulking over the pitiful love life that they seem to endure. As they reminisce about the one love in their life that they miss, they decide to look them up and see where they are and what they are doing. Much to our surprise they all seem to be in the state or even right there in Cleveland. Hmmm…what are the chances?
