Remember! Jimmy and Sabrina are dating. They are dating like junior high schoolers though. Movies, food, PG couch sitting. They are having Chinese food, and both are a bit gassy. It’s awful and embarrassing but it forces them to get things out into the open.

Virginia (and Burt) make a good point. They’re are together and happy after 25 years because they aren’t trying to hide who they are. So Sabrina and Jimmy agree to do the same. Then Sabrina drops a bomb. More after the jump!

2 Broke Girls – Recap & Review – And the Kosher Cupcakes

2 Broke Girls
And the Kosher Cupcakes

Well, that was some terrible TV. I don’t really want to talk about it, or write about it. The show just consistently treads the line of taste, and has consistently gone over that line this season. This episode was just plain terrible and cringe worthy. All of the (horrible) jokes in this episode seemed so try hard and so over the top in an already exaggerated show.

So the official description for tonight’s episode, per my program guide on my cable, says “Max and Caroline serve not-quite-kosher cupcakes at a Bar Mitzvah”. Read on for tonight’s recap.

Ms. Sassy-I-Don’t-Play-Well-With-Others (Ms. Sassy) doesn’t want to participate in the company trust exercises. I can’t really blame her for wanting to vacation while in Hawaii but her attitude sucks. So Ms. Sassy is walking back through the jungle to get to civilization when a scary bloody warrior dude stumbles out at her.

Back on the home-front, McG returns home early to find Danno fully nested. The house is full of smoke, piles and a dog. Steve has “aneurism” face, and Danny is full of excuses. Luckily a case saves them both from further discussion. He is dressed as an ancient King Warrior, but he’s got to be from this century. A shark tooth in his skin leads to the guys in loincloths fighting with traditional weapons and getting tattooed. Like Civil War Reenactments but Hawaiian.

I liked Will a lot more after this episode. Turns out, despite a kind of shady moral compass, he finally realized that he had to pay the price for past wrong deeds. This episode is how he arrived at that conclusion.

The episode started off right where the previous one ended — with Peter telling Wendy Scott off and Wendy threatening to get Will disbarred. And she makes good on that threat by letting the bar committee know about how Will “borrowed” $45,000 from a client’s account 15 years ago (he had also returned it).

This week we open with the guys playing a round of What If. The gang wants to know what Ming would do if he had a time machine. Ming, good naturedly, suggests he’d drop in on his future self just to see how things turned out. The guys then imagine Ming watching his future self as he rolls up in his wheelchair, drops his blanket and starts masturbating furiously…on a playground.

Kev leads a discussion of what super power would the Comic Book Men would choose. Bryan chooses invisibility. Walt chooses Wolverine’s healing ability. Ming chooses teleportation. Kev goes for patience. It’s not really a super power, but he can wait out any crime spree at least.

Remember when Lori didn’t tell anyone where she was going and got in a car wreck? That was awesome. Seriously, what was she thinking? So when a walker slices his face off with the windshield to get to her, I’m all “You asked for it.” But only for a second. Then I’m all about the “Run!”

Glenn and Hershel are a little shocked at the abrupt killing of Dave and Tony. Rick gives them a second to let the necessity sink in, then they’re good. They start to head back to the farm when some other strangers show up looking for Dave and Tony. Our three heroes hide, like they should, but when the strangers try to search the saloon (Old West stand-off anyone?), Rick becomes Honest Abe (Happy President’s Day!). He yells at the strangers that Dave and Tony “drew on us” and he had no choice but to kill them. “It’s a different world now, you know that!” Of course they know that, but it doesn’t stop them from shooting up the place.

“Some people would stop at nothing to destroy the happiness of others.” Isn’t that the premise of this show – a spiteful woman hell-bent on wrecking the lives of every single person in Fairytale? The Evil Queen is so transparent.

In Fairytale, Prince Charming is being chased by his faux-father’s henchmen. Of course, the King chose men whose aim was the worse and horses incapable of jumping over a fallen tree. Charming gets away from those useless cronies to be captured by another set of thugs. These obviously more capable brutes belonged to Abigail, Charming’s betrothed.

It feels like just yesterday we were finishing up season 19, wondering how Sandy could still be in the race at the final three while Cindy claimed she was going to use her winnings to save the world (okay, that’s a bit of an exaggeration .. sort of).

But we’ve got a whole new group of pairs for season 20, including female FBI agents, clowns, Border Patrol best friends, golfers, twins who are not alike at all, former Big Brother contestants that are now engaged, a married Military couple trying to salvage their marriage and a duo of “Guidos” who look like they were picked right out of the Jersey Shore.

No worries though. It doesn’t matter who is on the race, the rules stay the same and people ALWAYS break them. So with that, I present to you …

… the top 11 things I learned from The Amazing Race – Season 20 Premiere

Saturday Night Live – Recap & Review – Maya Rudolph

Saturday Night Live
Maya Rudolph

Original Air Date: Feb 18, 2012

Len – Senior Reviewer

I don’t think an episode of SNL has ever given me so many immediate post-show thoughts as this one, so forgive me if I get a little more long-winded than normal. But let’s start off with the main one – this episode was pretty fantastic from start to finish and for me, it beats out Jimmy Fallon as episode of the year. In addition to some topical sketches done well, the entire night started out on a dizzying laughter-high (thanks to Maya Rudolph and the writers of the cold open) and never really came down from it. We also have my new favorite for sketch of the year.

My major concern is the same as the one I had for that Jimmy Fallon Christmas Spectacular – the two best episodes this year now have been ones hosted by former SNL cast members. And in those episodes, they’ve brought along some additional friends from casts past. It doesn’t necessarily bode well for SNL Present if it becomes over-reliant on cameos and nostalgia sketches.

Anyhoo, let’s not dwell on that for too long because tonight’s show was a genuine pleasure to watch and will be a genuine pleasure to recap and score. Click on the LINk to read the rest and leave your TwoCents at the end!

Fringe – Recap & Review – A Better Human Being

Holy faux pas. You don’t go kissing some guy you’ve only known a short time who also has a girlfriend he is trying desperately to reunite with. But then again, this is Fringe. And haven’t I been saying all season that the non-Peter Olivia is actually our Olivia? Yes. Yes I have.

This episode picked up where we left off with Olivia trying to explain her actions and Peter just not getting it. She talks about how being with Peter feels natural, thinking that maybe her feelings are just a residual effect of their time in Westfield. She kicks him out of her apartment (migraine, again), but not before he makes her promise to let Walter check her out if she’s not better by morning.
