As usual, the Hecks make me laugh out loud when the show starts off with them running around trying to get ready for school and work. This brings back so many memories of my childhood and it still goes on today. I loved that they had them leave the house yelling and fighting and coming back into the house yelling and fighting at the end of the day.

I also wanted to give an update on the dishwasher. It seems that the dishwasher is finally in the hole and not in the middle of the floor! Anyway, the kids sit down Frankie and Mike and at first, they are offended but then they realize that the kids want to be more responsible and quit having Frankie yell at them and write reminders on their bodies. Also for Mike to stop handing out extremely, impossible punishments. Continue reading

Ever wonder what would happen if you were followed by cameras? Would you change how you acted? Tonight, some of the SouthLAnd cops are faced with that question.

On top of the camera excitement, Lydia must face her pregnancy head on, Ben and Sammy have trust issues, Cooper gets attacked and Dewey is, well, Dewey.

“The average street cop in Los Angeles makes $75k a year. It’s not enough.”

Biggest Loser 13 – Recap & Review – Week 8

Biggest Loser 13
Week 8

Original Air Date: Feb 21, 2012

This week’s excuse is “I lack self-control.” I had to eat the whole pizza because it was there and I couldn’t help myself. I fall victim to this one quite a bit. Speaking of excuses, I am sorry this is a bit late this week. I was a bit ill for a few days. But I couldn’t skip the episode, because it’s a doozy. If you thought that last week would be the end of the Conda/Daphne drama, you would be very, very, wrong. Very.

Not only that, but this episode also contains the MOST DRAMATIC ROSE CEREMONY, I mean WEIGH-IN EVER! (That was my best Chris Harrison). Let’s get to it!

NCIS – Recap & Review – Psych Out

Psych Out

Maria – Sr. Reviewer

Two burglars are robbing a house, when the tenant appears in front of them; dead with a noose around his neck. The dead man is Navy Reservist Dr. Robert Banks, and he knows a familiar psychologist who insists Doctor Banks was incapable of suicide. Kate Todd’s sister, Rachel Cranston, knew Dr. Banks well… as does (did) the Director of PsyOps, Dr. Samantha Ryan (Jamie Lee Curtis!)

TBS Extends “Conan” Through April 2014

photo: tbs

TBS has extended the popular late-night series CONAN through April 2014, demonstrating the network’s solid commitment to the Emmy®-nominated show and its host, Conan O’Brien.

Since premiering in November 2010, CONAN has been a hit with TBS’s core audience of young adults. The show recently charted its third consecutive month of audience growth. The success of CONAN also extends well beyond the show’s TBS telecasts to include widespread DVR, online and mobile viewing; interaction through Twitter, Facebook and TeamCoco.com. In the past year, CONAN has conducted special events throughout the country, including a week of shows from the Beacon Theater in New York and fan art exhibits in New York City and San Diego. In June 2012, CONAN will travel again, this time for a week of shows in Chicago.

No Glee. I absolutely refuse to believe that you did that. I mean, you’ve done it before – cheapen what could have been something by burying under piles and piles of absolutely ridiculous hooey. But this? I think you’ve taken away a piece of my Glee soul with completely coasting through Karofsky’s suicide attempt and then ending on what is just a patently ridiculous cliffhanger even for your standards.

Oh and Regionals happened.

Parenthood – Recap & Review – Remember Me, I’m The One Who Loves You

Parenthood
Remember Me, I’m The One Who Loves You

Original Air Date: Feb 21, 2012

Karen Belgrad – Senior Editor

This is certainly an odd February. It’s near 40 degrees in Chicago at 10PM and Parenthood only has one episode left this season. The two have seemingly little in common, unless you look at the fact that neither is the way it’s supposed to occur. Although I relish the lack of shoveling this winter, I loathe the fact that this quality hour of television only has one hour left.

We probably won’t know for some time if this show will be back for a fourth season. On any other network, its ratings wouldn’t garner a renewal, but NBC isn’t exactly at the top of the ratings game. But don’t take anything for granted, be sure to let NBC know we want our show back! Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, but I will probably remind you next week, let’s get to covering this hour…

Cece and Schmidt are still doing it. Too bad Schmidt talks, otherwise true love could be in the air. The roommates are all impressed the same mystery has made a second appearance, but Schmidt does know when to shut up.

Back in the real word, Jess has to deal with a kid that’s being bullied. Nick is freaking out because his girlfriend sent him a cactus. Schmidt gets to see Cece a lot, she can’t get enough of him!

With just two more episode left, White Collar’s penultimate episode left a lot to think about for next week’s season finale and Neal’s commutation hearing. While the hearing is on the back of everyone’s mind, Neal takes a case into his own hands that leads us to Yankee Stadium.

Also, this episode marked Tim DeKay’s directorial debut for the show and he was chatting it up on USA’s Character Chatter. I’ll include some of the inside info he provided in this review.

When the Guns Come Out

Lyssa G – Reviewer

Welcome to this weeks Justified. There was a lot f back and forth with last week and here is to hoping that it does not keep that pace this week.

We still have no idea what is going to happen with Quarles. He is one of the people that I really cannot put my finger on this season. The one thing that I liked about last week is how Boyd dealt with the situation. I am still not sure how he will develop. Lets see what happens this season.
