With Nina in custody, Lincoln and Peter search Olivia’s apartment for clues as to where she has gone. Lincoln, apparently believing Walter, is not happy that Peter has been robbing Olivia of her identity by projecting the memories of his Olivia onto her. The confrontation is cut short when Peter finds a closed-circuit camera in a smoke alarm. He needs to get back to the lab to extract the images and Lincoln needs to get to Fringe Division Headquarters to question Nina (or, ‘Meana’).

All tied up with no place to go, Nina tells Olivia about what has been going on for the past few weeks and about how, when she was kidnapped, she saw Meana. David Robert Jones breaks up the little reunion and announces that the reason Olivia is here is to ‘reach her potential’ and that Meana has been dosing her with Cortexiphan to prepare her to do so. He has also been studying Walter’s notes from the Cortexiphan Trials and has learned that Olivia’s abilities only manifest themselves under intense emotion. Hmmm… how to get that reaction? He takes out a freaky-looking drill and proceeds to jam it into Nina’s robotic arm, causing her intense pain. There’s that emotional spark he was looking for. Yes. Torturing Nina will force Olivia’s abilities to come to the surface for sure.

TwoCents and FiveQuestions with Jeff Pinkner and J.H. Wyman

Jeff Pinkner and J.H. Wyman, Executive Producers and Writers, Fringe

Don’t ask them if there will be a fifth season. Executive Producers and Writers of the cult favorite Fringe get that all the time. And even though they admit that last night’s hinge episode, The End of All Things, is a game-changer, they still don’t know if this season will be the last. They, like their millions of fans, are waiting with baited breath to see if Peter and Olivia get their happily ever after.

And speaking of those millions of fans, we got to chat with Pinkner and Wyman about the importance of social networking at this time of renewal and non (as well as where Fringe Division is heading and, we couldn’t help it, the rumors of a fifth season).

TheTwoCents: How important do you think social networking is to the success and especially with the new Fringinuity in Twitter and GetGlue campaigns and everything?

A Gifted Man – Recap & Review – In Case of Letting Go

A Gifted Man
In Case of Letting Go

Original Air Date: Feb 24, 2012

Dennis – TwoCents Reviewer

So I’ve sort of been dogging on A Gifted Man throughout its run, repeatedly saying it hasn’t reached its full potential and that it’s boring. While I didn’t think tonight’s episode was amazing, or its best, I do think it was a solid effort for the show. One of my only problems with tonight’s episode was that it should have been an episode…say, 6 or 7, and not episode 15.

Tonight’s episode had another great guest star, the amazing Maggie Siff from FX’s Sons of Anarchy. Maggie played Lily Meyerson, Michael’s high school sweetheart who comes back for their schools 20th reunion. Lily’s arrival shakes up Michael’s life in an unexpected way. Read on for tonight’s recap.

Last Grimm Standing

Original Air Date: Feb 24, 2012

Rachel M – Senior Staff Writer

I’m standing in this week. It’s a special treat for me to cover Grimm because I live in Portland where the show is set and filmed! It’s hard to pick out places you know sometimes though, movie-magic makes places I know really well look like somewhere else entirely! Anyway, it’s time to get down and dirty with Nick and Monroe this week.

It starts innocently enough, in the woods of course. Where there are shadowy figures and scary noises and a whole lot of reasons to not go wandering around. Too late for victim number one who is quickly dispatched by some guys on horseback.

The team is investigating the death of anti-cult activist Gabe Meadows. The scene is off though. The murder and theft (only the laptop is stolen) seem rushed, but yet someone took the time to wipe up blood and fingerprints, as if two people were involved. Jane smokes out the clean up man by spouting rhetoric about Meadows’ main target, Visualize. Officer Downs, the first uniform at the scene, was the one who cleaned up. He’s not talking though.

But that’s only the first layer of this case, because Downs had an alibi for the time of death.

“Real” catastrophe strikes this week when Sheldon finds out his barber is in the hospital. No one else can cut his hair since Mr. Donofrio has his “haircut records” from Texas. He makes a brief effort to let Mr. Donofrio’s nephew cut it, but just can’t go through with it. Horrors, the man wants to have conversation! And so, forces beyond Sheldon’s control have foiled his carefully structured life and there’s nothing he can do about it.

But before we talk about Sheldon’s meltdown, let’s talk about Howard in astronaut training.

Get your blue and yellow on, because it’s a very special holiday: Leap Day! Except if your name is Liz Lemon, you probably didn’t even know the holiday exists.

On her way to work, Liz is confronted by an old university classmate, Thad, who invites her to his “Leap Day” celebration. Later, Jenna immediately recognizes him as an internet billionaire according to her gold diggers message boards. Naturally, she demands to be Liz’s plus one.

A Thin Line

Southern California is brutally awoken by a second home invasion in less than a week. A whole family – including a six month old baby – is brutally murdered in the middle of the night in their own home. A home which should be the safe haven to a family, of course people are scared and everyone wants this case solved as soon as possible.

The BAU is called in because of the rapid explosion of violence, two families murdered in a matter of days in what should be the safety of their own home. Since the father in both of the families was used to handling guns – one was a hunter and the other a war vet – they were both able to kill one of their assailants. At least that is what it looks like.

Ron wants Leslie to take a leave of absence to deal with her campaign. Apparently she’s working 50 hours at the parks department and 50 hours on her campaign. She’s been wearing the same lollipop encrusted sweater for 4 days. Leslie refuses but the fact is, she’s stretching herself too thin and both jobs are suffering.

Tom gives Ann a Kangol hat that says Tommy’s Girl. Tom’s hat just says Tom, not Ann’s Man or something. Ann is not impressed. April is regretting setting those two up because now they won’t stop asking her for advice.

Pam shows Angela a picture of her Phillip wearing the booties that Angela gave them as a gift. Oscar wants to show off pictures of his dog like a kid. Pam and Angela do a talking head about him behind his back. Then Angela said her 3 month old baby is crawling. Oscar and Pam talking head about what a liar Angela is. Pam complains about the inconvenience of having two kids. Oscar and Angela talking head about Pam. Andy walks in and talks about how his brother bought a boat and how there’s nothing harder than taking care of a boat. Oscar, Angela, and Pam talking head to complain about Andy. This was all mildly amusing.

The new Sabre store team is finished with their seminar and Dwight is still pestering Nellie to make him VP. Jim and Cathy have been hanging out a bit. I don’t want to this go anywhere.
