It must have been the “Be Nice” episode of Idol when the Top 13 men performed. The judges barely said anything negative about the contestants. Even when one singer sang under key the whole song, they didn’t seem to mind.

I have to give huge kudos to Idol’s new home theater and the beautiful set. It’s flashy without taking too much attention away from the singers.

It’s hard to believe that this was the last episode of the season for Parenthood. Don’t get me wrong, the episode was clearly a season finale, but it’s just hard to stomach that we may or may not ever see the Braverman family again. For the last time this season, I implore you to contact NBC to let them know that we want another season!

Some of the storylines were wrapped up this hour, seemingly in a perfect bow. However, there was also quite a lot of potential drama for season four established as well. So, without further ado, I give you the final recap and review of season three (sniff!)

Welcome to this weeks episode of Justified. There are so many different things that we have learned last week. This season is continuing to build, and although it is driving me crazy, I am glued to my seat every Tuesday.

Last week we found out about the Oxy business that Quarles is attempting to start up. He is trying to set up mobile clinics in order to make money. Boyd is also trying to get into the Oxy business, even managed to set up shop at Raylan’s aunts house. Winona has left Raylan… Again. Lets see what happens this week!

White Collar – Recap & Review – Judgment Day

WOW. That’s basically my thoughts after seeing White Collar‘s season three finale. As for finales, the cast has called this the biggest cliffhanger’s the show’s ever had. Biggest game changer, too. And while I was anticipating what it could be, let us be reminded that the show’s had some intense finales. In season one, Kate blew up in a plane and a year ago this time, the team uncovered the truth behind Kate’s death, found a massive treasure and Neal knew where it was.

Without revealing too much here, it was indeed one of the biggest and best cliffhangers/game changers the show has taken. One to make you think about and only wish the new season would start sooner rather than later.

So what happened?

I’ve been wondering when the show would do something with D.W. Moffett that would take him outside of the lawsuit storyline.  It seems like everyone has had something to do outside of the switch, but he’s largely been the most peripheral character of the show. This hour, although the lawsuit was still present, there was a different angle to Papa Kennish shown.

But that was just one of the many stories in this near-overstuffed hour.  We had deaf culture, nepotism, control issues, and plenty of intense conversations.  But the hour began on a somber note, so let’s cover that right out of the box…

As a huge fan of the King of Queens, I was super excited when I saw Patton Oswalt was going to be guest-starring on Two and a Half Men tonight. What kind of funny would he bring? Would he bring the funny?

And would Doug and Carrie come along with him? (Just kidding…sort of…)

How I Met Your Mother – Recap & Review – Karma

Last week, Robin moved out of Ted’s apartment. It was a pretty big deal, ending any last possibility of a romance between the two. But if you think that’s the biggest move we’ll see this season, this episode proves otherwise.

2012’s been an interesting year. Besides all that drama- which happened right after Kevin and Robin broke up- Barney may just be falling in love. With a stripper. Who treats him like he’s treated other women. Just go with it, I guess?

SMASH – Recap & Review – The Cost of Art

SMASH
The Cost of Art

As many of the SMASH set discover this week, it can be tough to step out of someone else’s shadow. Unless of course you’re Ellis, in which case you only want to stand (literally) in the shadows and creep on people.

But I digress. Eileen is trying her best to raise funds for a musical no one wants to invest in – not without Jerry’s name attached, that is. Julia is hoping to shake the bad juju from her affair with Michael. Tom and Derek go ‘round over who discovered a teen idol (guest star Nick Jonas). Ivy lets Karen’s capable and imposing presence get the better of her in rehearsals while Derek’s schmoozing sends her over the edge. Between the Jonas and the intervention Karen’s new Broadway buddies try to pull, things are really spicing up off the stage…

Castle – Recap & Review – Once Upon a Crime

I will admit first that I’m not a huge fan of the filler/gimmick episodes. Yes, I love fairy tales and yes I’m a little tickled by the fact that the killer has the creativity to set up the murders like in the stories. However, since the how is steadily getting credibility, I want to stay on the drama note. We open up on a woman in an obvious red riding hood running frantically through the park at night. If you watch horror movies you know where this is going. Yes, this is most likely a playful jab at that other abc show.

Meanwhile, at chez Castle, where Martha is writing a one woman show. It may be exaggerated, but I’d go see it. Unfortunately, she’s chosen Castle office to work in. He’s only too happy to get away when Beckett calls him to the murder scene. The killer went through the trouble of running an actal wolf claw over the victim’s skin, but the real cause of death is a powerful dose of drugs, directly injected into her system.
