In this episode, we learn a big secret from Mike that pleasantly surprised me and shocked the rest of the Hecks. Anyway, it is getting close to leap day and Sue’s birthday falls on this day. She has asked Frankie to give her a surprise party. I know, sounds backwards? Anyway, Frankie said that this leap year will be simple because she got the Justin Bieber tickets not to long ago. Sue gives Frankie an eye wink, thinking she is still getting a big party when she isn’t.

We also have Axl who is beyond bored because it is between sports seasons and all he is doing is lying around the house. He resorts to vacuuming! Throughout the whole episode, all did was vacuum and started to act like a mother. He did not like when Frankie was dropping crumbs on his freshly vacuumed carpet.

This was a better episode than the first two. What happens? Well, the women turn things around. There was a seriously exciting immunity challenge. Someone gets what’s coming to him or her. Someone is now dead to me and I will not be rooting for this person regardless of what moves this person makes.

By the way, I’m curious about people’s feeling about Jeff. So, if nothing else, drop me a comment and let me know what you think of him.

Welcome to a new cycle of Top Model! Is it just me or did this one just creep up on us? I didn’t even know it was coming until last week when I looked at the TV Guide. This cycle it’s all about America vs. Britain. There are seven models from each country all competing against each other for the title of America’s Next Top Model. I think it’s a little odd, I have to say. I also don’t think it’s fair that all of the Brits have already appeared on Britain’s Next Top Model. But I don’t write the rules, so…I’ll just sit back and enjoy the usual drama and fun.

For more info on the models, please check out the show’s webpage. Let’s start to get to know the girls now…

Leap Day

Poor Cameron, his birthday is actually on Leap Day, which means a true celebration is due. This a fantastic day for Cameron and a miserable day for Mitchell.

The Dunphy family thinks Leap Day is the most important day to celebrate. It’s a whole extra 24 hours to really live! To spend doing something out of your regular life! So trapeze classes it is. Unfortunately for Phil, Claire is sobbing at a commercial and Hayley is right behind her. And then Alex falls in too. Oh the troubles of man Phil: “The day I’ve most dreaded has fallen on the day I love most.”

Gibbs goes to meet with a naval officer, Leland Wiley, and his lawyer. Wiley is claiming he has confidential information about an arms deal and is willing to talk in exchange for a plea bargain about his drug possession charge. Unfortunately, Wiley dies before he can talk. I sense foul play. Thankfully, Gibbs is on the case. Probationary Agent Ned Dorneget is also willing to help… if he’s given a chance.

When we last left our devious Hamptons residents, Emily and Daniel’s engagement party had gone very, very awry. Tyler was dead, Daniel was covered in blood, Charlotte was popping pills, and Emily’s grand scheme had gone completely off the rails.

This episode answered a lot of questions, some predictably, but it also opened up several other intriguing scenarios. However, we learned one very troubling piece of information… after this hour, there won’t be any new episodes until APRIL? But before we deal with that, let’s cover what transpired this episode.

Farewell… Davy Jones

jones

Davy Jones, Singer/Actor

It’s with a heavy heart TTC bids farewell to the lead singer on one of the best pop groups created for television. Davy Jones died today at his home of a massive heart attack. He was 66.

Born in the U.K, Jones rose to fame in the U.S. while starring as the lead singer of “The Monkees,” made to be an American version of the Beatles. The show of the same name aired on NBC from 1966-1968. Jones is probably best remembered as singing lead vocals on songs like “I Wanna Be Free” and “Daydream Believer.” Thought the show was short lived, Jones continued to tour with the other Monkees for a time.

Many may also remember Jones from a popular episode of “The Brady Bunch,” in which he makes an appearance as himself at Marcia Brady’s school dance where Marcia, president of her school’s Davy Jones Fan Club, promised she could get him to appear before her classmates.

Biggest Loser 13 – Recap & Review – Week 9

Biggest Loser 13
Week 9

Original Air Date: February 28, 2012

This week we get back to what this show is about; losing weight and making positive changes in your life. All of the excuses we’ve covered so far are challenges for the contestants on this episode because they are all going home for 18 days. Yes, 18. I think that’s a first for this show. Usually it’s just a week. Ali tells them right after Daphne’s elimination and the next morning they are on their way. As an extra incentive, anyone who loses 5% of their body weight will have immunity and can’t be voted out.

There is only a few seconds of drama tonight and it’s completely Conda-less! I know, I was shocked, too! Let’s follow all our friends home and spy on their progress, shall we?

How can anything top last week’s vampire-like attack against Cooper? We’re halfway through the season and we still don’t know who Lydia’s baby daddy is, Sammy and Ben are still fighting and Tang and Cooper have become the punching bags of the citizens of Los Angeles.

Tonight, Tang does something to force Cooper to become unhinged. What could she do that’s so terrible? Read on to find out. It’s a doozy.

“LAPD officers start every shift knowing they might only have a fraction of a second to make a difficult choice. The ramifications will last their whole lives.”
