Fizbo the clown had a clown partner named Lewis back in the days. Don’t clowns have clown-names? Lewis is too normal, right? Does that make him a crappy clown?

At the Dunphy Compound, Phil is in his Sunday best hoping to land a listing. When he gets to the mansion (I refuse to call that monstrosity a house), he encounters Mitzi – the realtor from ambition-hell.

Going into tonight’s third episode, we are even at 6 to 6, US vs UK. Who will win tonight? In this hour, we also get to see Kelly Cutrone’s true colors and a very dramatic panel. This is Top Model after all. Where would we be without a little drama?

The US girls get another box of clothes for winning last week, but the Brits just wave it off. They decide to prank Seymone by throwing wads of paper at her in the dark US bedroom, but it doesn’t going over well because she was trying to sleep. And she loudly lets us know so about 100 times before going back to said sleep. We get it. Go back to bed. And Brits? Grow up. Sheesh. Moving on…

I told you it was coming. You probably knew it was coming anyway. We all knew it was coming. Apparently, the people playing the game didn’t know it was coming. What was coming? Well, I won’t spoil it out here.

We do get a bit more insight into Greg. (Really, I’m just not going to call him Tarzan. It’s just not happening.) We also see a sub-alliance form between two of the women that will definitely play a role further along in the game.

Showtime Sets Return Dates for “Weeds” and “Episodes”

photo: showtime

On Sunday, July 1st beginning at 10:00 PM ET/PT WEEDS and EPISODES return!

When we last visited the Botwin clan, they were enjoying a nice dinner al fresco when a mystery shooter targeted one of the family members. Who ended up on the receiving end of that bullet? And who has it out for the Botwins enough to take a shot? This upcoming eighth season will have the answers you’ve been waiting for, so tune in for WEEDS on Sundays this summer at 10:00 PM ET/PT to get the scoop.

Back in Tinseltown, Pucks! has gone from pilot to full blown series, forcing Beverly (Tamsin Greig) and Sean (Stephen Manghan), who are no longer living together, into an awkward working situation with Matt (Matt LeBlanc). While Beverly struggles to save her marriage, Matt, having been the root of the couple’s problems, will try his best to save his “bromance” with Sean. As if our trio doesn’t have enough on their plate, they’ll be forced to try and save Pucks! as the ratings plummet and the pressure mounts. Don’t miss Matt LeBlanc in his 2012 Golden Globe® Award-winning role on Sundays this summer at 10:30 PM ET/PT when EPISODES returns.

Julie Benz, Stephanie Leonidas, Tony Curran and Jaime Murray Join Cast of Syfy’s “Defiance”

Syfy has announced additional casting for its upcoming epic science fiction drama Defiance, inking Julie Benz, Stephanie Leonidas, Tony Curran and Jaime Murray to co-star in the first-ever series to unite television and MMO gaming. The pilot, slated to commence production this April in Toronto, is directed by Scott Stewart (Legion, Priest), and written/executive produced by Rockne O’Bannon (Farscape), Kevin Murphy (Desperate Housewives, Caprica; Hellcats) & Michael Taylor (Battlestar Galactica). Kevin Murphy serves as showrunner.

Defiance is a visionary enterprise in collaboration with Trion Worlds, with the Syfy series and Trion’s multi-platform shooter MMO poised to debut simultaneously. Set in the near future, Defiance introduces a completely transformed planet Earth, inhabited by the survivors of a universal war. Forced to co-habitate, the disparate group struggles to build a new society among the devastation. The dramatic tapestry of the series and the intense action of the game will exist in a single universe where their respective narratives will inform one another and evolve together into one overall story. Defiance is produced by Universal Cable Productions.

HBO Cancels “Luck” After Horse Deaths

photo: hbo

HBO today decided halt all production on the series LUCK.

In a statement from the network. “It is with heartbreak that executive producers David Milch and Michael Mann together with HBO have decided to cease all future production on the series LUCK.”

“Safety is always of paramount concern. We maintained the highest safety standards throughout production, higher in fact than any protocols existing in horseracing anywhere with many fewer incidents than occur in racing or than befall horses normally in barns at night or pastures. While we maintained the highest safety standards possible, accidents unfortunately happen and it is impossible to guarantee they won’t in the future. Accordingly, we have reached this difficult decision.”

SouthLAnd – Recap & Review – Risk

SouthLAnd
Risk

Original Air Date: Mar 13, 2012

Many apologies for missing last week. I know we’re getting to the end of SouhtLAnd’s run – and there hasn’t been news of a renewal – but sometimes my day job gets the best of me.

Last week, Sammy forgave Ben, who has taken an interest in the case of a prostitute and her daughter (so much so he beat their pimp and had to be restrained by Sammy). Lydia and Ruben took on a case of a murdered nanny (which ultimately wound up being accidental) and the details of the case (a married man cheating on his wife with the nanny) revealed the fact that Lydia’s baby’s daddy is married! And lastly, Cooper still isn’t 100% okay with Tang and she applied to be a sergeant.

Only two episodes left…

“As cops become more experienced, their confidence inevitably grows. Confidence can lead them can take more risk. That’s when they’re in real danger.”

New Girl – Recap & Review – Control

Schmidt is freaked out about Cece booty-calling him at all hours of the night. He is kind of a control freak. Kind of might be an understatement. Schmidt is banning pine furniture, and threatens to ban high-waisted shorts (again). Schmidt is the alpha dog of the apartment in a lot of ways, he cooks and cleans and sets some of the rules. The guys believe the apartment has a fragile eco-system.

Jess is about screw up the eco-system, because she believes it’s broken. Schmidt gets physically sick to see these things in his house. Poor guy, he’s under a lot of stress!
