Castle – Recap & Review – A Dance With Death

Castle
A Dance With Death

Original Air Date: Mar 19, 2012

Divina F – TwoCents Reviewer
divina@thetwocentscorp.com

Yes, we’re very obviously getting this episode as an homage to the 14th season – Jesus take the wheel, 14 – of Dancing With the Stars. I must confess that I love when Castle does this with other abc shows. Parody on, Andrew Marlowe. Parody on.

We open up on a disco ball, sequins and hardwood floors. (Sitting next to me, my mother was confused. She thought DWTS was already over.) But A Night of Dance is has a unique setup. Instead of having permanent partners, dancers wiggle their hips up the ranks. After each dance, half of the pair is eliminated. And tonight, sweetheart Odette Morton has been permanently eliminated. The prime suspect is the contestant who got booted off before her, Eddie Gordon, who not only brought the drama on and off the set, but also raged about the unfairness of his exit, blaming Odette. Plus he was spotted lurking around the studio the afternoon she was shot.

2 Broke Girls
And the Spring Break

Original Air Date: Mar 19, 2012

Dennis – TwoCents Reviewer
dennis@thetwocentscorp.com

It’s spring break time for the 2 broke girls in tonight’s episode. The girls house-sit for a couple’s dogs, take a break in a pair of portable saunas, and crash a Food Network party. There is also the issue of Oleg and Sophie having sex everywhere. Who says that only the girls can have a wild spring break? Read on for tonight’s recap.

We open at the apartment, where Max is tiredly making cupcakes at 3 in the morning. Caroline talks to Max about their cupcake website but is interrupted by Oleg, who comes down to their apartment, from Sophie’s, asking for edible sensual oils.

Hawaii Five-O – Recap & Review – Kalele

Hawaii Five-O
Kalele

I don’t know about you, but in the part of the world I live in I’m in dire need of some sunshine! Seeing McG and Danny coming in out from the surf makes me so jealous! Less thrilling is the return of Mary, Steve’s sister. She’s shiny and happy and a stewardess. Steve is very cautious about welcoming her in, and it looks like he has a good reason because when she returns to the hotel there’s a very scary looking bad guy waiting for her.

Steve and Danny barely have time for their banter before he gets a call that Mary has been arrested for smuggling. She being used to smuggle diamonds or the bad guys are going to kill her friend. Mary is a magnet for trouble isn’t she?

Comic Book Men – Recap & Review – Ink

Comic Book Men
Ink

Original Air Date: Mar 18, 2012

Jeff L – Staff Writer

This week’s outing, the final issue of the too-short six-issue limited-run, finds the Comic Book Men re-living a moment from Walter’s past. He promised the guys back in 1995 that if the Devils won the Stanley Cup, he’d get their logo tattooed on his body somewhere.

He never showed up at the tattoo parlor back then and the CBM have never really let him live it down.

Army Wives – Recap & Review – Learning Curve

Army Wives
Learning Curve

Original Air Date: Mar 18, 2012

Will – Associate Staff Writer

Wow! What an episode this was of Army Wives! This season of Army Wives started out strong and it just keeps getting better. First of all, things are getting tense between the new woman on post, Jackie and Claudia Joy. Claudia Joy is feeling very threatened by this woman because she is used to being in control and Jackie and is trying to nudge her way into everything.

We also find out from Roxy when all of the Army Wives (including Roland) that she is talking to Pamela every night and the bad news is, is that she loves California. Let me also say that I love Roxy! She is that type of person that has good common sense and she will do anything to stand up for what she believes in. Continue reading

The Good Wife
Gloves Come Off

Original Air Date: Mar 18, 2012

Patricia Morris Buckley – Sr. Staff Writer
pmb@thetwocentscorp.com

If you like shows where everyone is friendly and nice to each other, this week’s episode of The Good Wife must have been a disappointment.

The action started with all the equity partners arguing over who should take Will’s place — with Will sitting right next to them. To make things worse, someone has tattled to the bar that Will has been doing a little more lawyering than his deal said he could — obviously to get him disbarred and open up a position at the firm.
