One of my favorite recurring characters on Psych is the medical examiner, Woody. Played by Kurt Fuller, Woody is fully dedicated to his job and his quirky mannerisms make him perfectly fit for the world of Psych. Tonight we got to see further into his world and learn more about his past and find out that he has a little crush on someone in the department?

We open on everyone in the Chief’s office. Woody has made a mistake. But Woody doesn’t make mistakes! The victim, Bob White, not a clown, but a bus accident victim died and it was ruled an accident. But the mortician found a severed earlobe that Woody missed. What? Who is this mortician? Woody’s ex-colleague and ex-girlfriend, Grace. Duh, duh duhhh!

’30 Rock’ To Go Live Again April 26

photo: nbc

NBC’s “30 Rock” – which achieved impressive ratings and critical acclaim with its first live episode in 2010 – goes live again on Thursday, April 26 (8:30-9 p.m. ET) from the iconic Studio 8H in Rockefeller Center in New York.

When their Kabletown bosses announce they will no longer pay for TGS to be a live show, Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) and Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) realize their lives will actually be easier if they shoot canned episodes fast and cheap. Only Kenneth the Page (Jack McBrayer) objects, urging that nothing can replace the communal experience of live television. He tries to convince the TGS staff to fight for their right to be live by taking them and our audience through a magical look back at the illustrious history of Studio 6H.

On April 1, Game of Thrones fans will have a chance to watch their favorite show like never before when the HBO GO interactive viewing experience becomes available for the first time on the HBO GO iPad app. The Game of Thrones interactive elements on HBO GO allow viewers to engage with original features created exclusively for the service, by watching full-length episodes of the series alongside an “alert feed” showing never-before-seen bonus content. Previously available only online at HBOGO.com, the interactive viewing experience will become available on the HBO GO iPad app beginning with the season 2 premiere episode of Game of Thrones on April 1 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT, featuring special enhancements designed exclusively for the iPad.

Interactive viewing of Game of Thrones season 2 on the iPad provides an even more immersive and exciting experience for audiences, giving them an elegant, intuitive way to explore the world of Westeros. In landscape mode, a few taps of the screen enables the “alert feed” which appears just below the episode, calling out relevant content timed to specific scenes. I never thought that Ryan would be cool enough to make a “Hunger Games” reference. Way to go Ry-Ry!

This week’s theme is the contestant’s own personal idols. Plus, contestants also had to sing in a trio. It seems like they’re overloading these kids, especially if they have to do a group number for the results show. But I have to say, the trios were far better than the group numbers. Can we please drop the group number?

As the American girls are ripping into yet another box of gifts for getting best picture, Azmarie shares her pride for having said best picture for the second week in a row. Meanwhile, another rivalry in the house is set afoot when Sophie says in the confessional that she swears she will be upping her game to beat Azmarie this week.

Meanwhile, Eboni is still whining about Kyle wanting to quit last week but still being her this week. And Kyle says that they can all kiss her butt. She just had a bad week. She wants to be there and she’s in it to win it. I have to say that I actually really like Kyle a lot. She has spunk.

Things are shaking out after the merge, which leads to a little friction between people who are in the minority.

Okay, I’ll admit it: watching Survivor after seeing The Hunger Games is deeply weird. (It’s been weird since reading the books but it’s after seeing the movie.) I feel very self-conscious about the whole thing. Well, at least no one is forced to deal with Jeff Probst and no one dies, they just get to eat real food and take a shower. Anyway, on to find out who the odds are ever not in their favor!

What do you do with a drunken sailor? Two sailors are out celebrating shore leave, when they come across the body of Caleb Adams, who isn’t drunk, but dead! A very sobering event for the shipmates who came across him, but Director Vance soon receives a nasty shock of his own, as the main suspect in Adams’ murder turns out to be Vance’s brother-in-law!
