Castle – Recap & Review – The Limey

Castle
The Limey

Original Air Date: Apr 2, 2012

Divina F – TwoCents Reviewer

The frustrating part of this episode is in realizing that there are three more until the season finale. Three. I feel like Castle fans are more than ready for either Beckett or Castle to make a move. This episode makes it pretty clear that the ball is in Beckett’s court now, but the writers are trying to drag this out until the very last-minute. And if you think you’ve had enough, it’s nothing on what Lanie is feeling.

We open up on a murder scene at a seedy motel, the victim a beautiful woman. A man, presumably her killer – but then, that would be too obvious – is searching through her things. Finally, he seems to find whatever he’s looking for in the lining of her jacket. He flees the hotel just as room service shows up.

Bones – Recap & Review – Prisoner In The Pipe

Bones
Prisoner in the Pipe

Original Air Date: Apr 2, 2011

Well, I know that the fans have waited a long time for Bones to finally come back…but I think it fell just a bit shy of being a really good episode. I loved that we now have a new future Squint, but the storyline was kind of boring for me. It seems I just waited all night for the labor to start. I think I would have loved to see a longer labor process to add to the intensity of the show.

Let’s get started on what happened in the show and see what your opinions are about what happened or didn’t happen, ok?

Army Wives – Recap & Review – Viral

Army Wives
True Colors

Original Air Date: April 1, 2012

Will – Associate Staff Writer
will@thetwocentscorp.com

This week of Army Wives was very emotional and it also made us think of some moral issues that we have to deal with day-to-day. Things seem to be going well with David at the Youth Center until him and one of his friends gets into an accident and David starts bleeding. If you don’t know, David has the HIV virus and even though it is almost undetectable in his blood, there is still a chance of giving it to someone else.

Luckily, Rowland was there and he when he learned that the other boy, Dustin, had a cold cut that some of David’s blood got on, he decided to take Dustin to the hospital. As you can imagine, when the mother and father of Dustin got there, they were extremely upset but also unnecessarily rude to Rowland, David, and Joan.

“Veronica Mars” is coming to SOAPnet. To kick off the show, SOAPnet will air an 11-episode marathon, Sunday, April 15th, from 8AM – 7PM (ET/PT). TwoCents & Five Questions with Betty White

superwoman

Betty White, Actress, Producer

Where do I start on Betty White? She’s been a household name since she started in her own series, Life with Elizabeth in 1952. She’s appeared on some of the most popular series on television including Mary Tyler Moore (Sue Ann Nivens), The Golden Girls (Rose Nylund), Mama’s Family (Ellen Harper), and of course, Hot in Cleveland (Elka Ostrovsky). She received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1988 and it’s right next to her late husband, game show host, Allen Ludden’s star. At the age of 88, Betty became the oldest person to ever host Saturday Night Live and it was one of their highest rated episodes ever. Sadly, though she was the oldest among the Golden Girls, she is the only surviving member of the cast. Rose was my absolute favorite tv character of the 90’s. Though Betty never had human children, she is well-known for her love of animals and as well as having many pets, she has done extensive work with animal charities and is on the board of the Los Angeles Zoo. When I had the opportunity to participate in a conference call with Betty for her new reality show, Betty White’s: Off Their Rockers, I literally leapt at the chance. Here are some of the tidbits she had to share.
