Dancing With the Stars
Week 3 Results

Original Air Date: Apr 3, 2012

Annette – Staff Writer
annette@thetwocentscorp.com

Story night presented with some outstanding and very emotional performances. Poor Brooke couldn’t even interview anyone after their dance because they kept choking up.

With such good performances, came very good scores. The bottom of the leader board was a five way tie with 24 points. In any other season, 24 points in week 3 would be the top of the leader board. Even Len said he feels that no one should have to go home this week. Unfortunately though, that’s not how the show works. So read on to find out who got eliminated.

Raising Hope
Sabrina’s New Jimmy

Original Air Date: Apr 3, 2012

Rachel M – Senior Staff Writer
rachelm@thetwocentscorp.com

I still don’t really buy Sabrina and Jimmy as a couple. Like every week I forget that their finally together after all that angst. Especially when Jimmy learns that Sabrina is super blind and wears glasses. Seriously? How long have they known each other? And Sabrina thinks her thick glasses will make Jimmy reject her completely? Ugh.

Sabrina’s new study partner is super hot though. And Jimmy is instantly jealous and insecure. Dude, y’all need to just talk to each other!

Even though it is almost time for the finale episode, I am still laughing from last weeks episode. There have been a lot of ends that were somewhat tied up, and now it seems as though there are going to be a few more to tie off.

We still need to find out what is going to happen to Dickie Bennett. How are all of the different things that Quarles got himself into going to play out and will it be in his favor or not. Also what is going to happen with the character of Limehouse? There is a lot of different things that we need to see and this week is sure to bring that.

New Girl – Recap & Review – Secrets

New Girl
Secrets

Original Air Date: Apr 3, 2012

The gang has been on a hot streak lately. Tonight looks to be no exception when Jess shows up at Cece’s and everyone scrambles to hide Schmidt inside the couch. And just in time, Winston can’t keep the secret and tells Nick. And Nick is the worst secret keeper EVER.

Schmidt walks into Jess’ reaction to the news. She is kind of over reacting in my opinion. She’s upset that it’s been going on for such a long time and she didn’t know. Who cares?

SMASH – Recap & Review – Hell on Earth

SMASH
Hell on Earth

Original Air Date: April 2, 2012

Lauren A – Senior Reviewer
lauren@thetwocentscorp.com

Let’s pretend the team behind SMASH asked me to name this episode, in which Ellis has a legitimate shot at co-producing the Marilyn project. I might choose “What’s That Flying Above Us – A Pig?” or “Hey, Did You Hear About the Winter Weather Hades is Having?” Neither have quite the same ring to them as “Hell on Earth”, which is fine because this episode was actually (well, nearly) Heaven for me!

Maybe it was the stellar appearance by my biggest Broadway crush, one Norbert Leo Butz. Maybe it was Ivy and Karen’s amazing duet amongst the street performers of Times Square. Or maybe, just maybe, it was the honest emotion and strong storytelling of a show finding its footing. Somewhere between Eileen and Derek searching for a star, Tom de-wadding his tighty whities for a night out with John (and then Sam), and Julia’s world crumbling down around her, SMASH finally hit home – all pretending aside.

Shannon – Associate Editor

A little family is at the airport waiting for Uncle Brent. The little boy is upset because his dad is leaving on a tour of duty while Uncle Brent is coming home from his. Unfortunately, Uncle Brent is being escorted home by army police because he’s been charged with treason. Then Brent has a seizure right there in the airport.

Adams thinks there’s something wrong with House because she stole his coffee cup and he didn’t notice. The rest of the team think that House wants her to believe he’s sick and they blow her off.
