The creators of Falling Skies must feel as if their season is WAY too short. The two-hour season premiere was so full of new characters, new aliens and new storylines, it’s hard to sift through them all.

It’s been seven months since we last saw the 2nd Mass and much has happened. Anne is due to give birth to Tom’s fourth kid any minute, Hal is in a wheel chair, the newest aliens and perhaps allies (the Volm) have given them great new weapons and a device to remove the harness safely, and the bad aliens have created MegaMechs, bigger and more powerful robotic killing machines.

Whew!

Seven episodes in and we finally get a Gob-centric episode. And for me, it was a winner. In Gob’s first arrested development, we find out he has a new group of rich and famous friends (Entourage-like) after his relationship fails and his family abandons him.

But before we get to his new group of friends and all their names, let’s pick up from the season three finale. When we last saw Gob, he was with Ann when George Michael discovers that his uncle is dating his ex-girlfriend.

The episode follows the build the wall/don’t build the wall story. To be fair, it’s not my favorite plot of the season. We also get to watch the continued emasculation/feminization of the formerly manly elder Bluth.

Warehouse 13 Upcoming Season 5 to Be Last

Syfy announced today that Warehouse 13, the Emmy Award-nominated, long-running hit series, will commence production on its fifth and final season June 24th in Toronto.

The six all-new episodes of Season 5 will premiere in 2014.
