We open on a video will Star Burns left. In it, he asks Abed made to make a video tribute of his life. This must happen.

In the study room, Annie wants to know when they’re going to stop not talking about Star Burns’ death. Britta has come prepared with her own stick-on star shaped sideburns to help the group work through their grief. Jeff says that Britta was smarter when he first met her and yeah, Jeff, I kind of have to agree with that. Britta is kooky these days. She invites them to ask her questions. They don’t take it very seriously because how could you?

While I’m not the biggest fan of the singer eliminated this week, I have to say that the wrong contestant went home.

In fact, I feel as if the judges and America has put on blinders about a certain contestant and they’re pretending this one can sing a whole lot better than he/she can. This is when you start wondering how scripted Idol really is…

Queen of Jordan II: Mystery of the Phantom Pooper

It’s another episode of our favorite fictional Bravo reality series, “Queen of Jordan.” When we first saw this the show replace its normal format and replace it with this reality show last season it came out hilarious, would this new installment be just as good?

Previously on Queen of Jordan, Angie is launching a new clothing line. Now that she’s a fashion designer, she’s an octuple threat. She is after all already a reality star, an actress, a singer song-reader, a perfumist, an IBS survivor, bestselling author of a book she didn’t write and catch phrase coiner – I’ll take that with cheese!

I assume at this point, all of the residents have Alice Cooper’s “Schools Out” resonating in their heads (not the milquetoast version from this week’s Glee, either). They’re all looking forward to no more pencils, no more books, and no more teachers’ dirty looks. But they’re not quite there at the beginning of this hour.

Last week we saw our gang get ready to take their test (by puking, by having sex, by flying back to Seattle, etc…). This week it’s all about the actual tests in San Francisco, and a few patients back in Seattle to boot. It’s a crowded episode, so let’s cover all that took place.

AMC Greenlights Two Pilots

AMC announced today pilot orders for “Low Winter Sun” and the “Untitled LaGravenese & Goldwyn Project” marking the first time the network has greenlit two scripted pilots at the same time. “Low Winter Sun” is a co-production between Endemol Studios and AMC Studios. “Untitled LaGravenese & Goldwyn Project” will be produced by AMC Studios. The pilot orders continue to build on the network’s programming strategy of creating original scripted series that serve passionate audiences with quality and distinction.

“Both of these shows represent an opportunity to continue what our existing scripted series have established so well – a commitment to great writing, and shows that tackle complex characters in a genuine and authentic way,” said Joel Stillerman, AMC’s EVP of original programming, production and digital content. “Richard and Tony have collaborated on an explosive piece of storytelling that explores race and capital punishment in a way that transcends the legal genre; and Chris has captured the strength and intensity of the source material to create a muscular, Detroit-based character piece that explores the themes of such diverse stories as Crime and Punishment and Heat.”

The first scene of this episode involves a small child smeared with his mother’s blood. And that doesn’t even begin to touch how twisted things get. This is one of those episodes where the writers seem determined to outdo themselves.

A young boy, Sam, calls 911, saying his mom is hurt. The operator tracks the cell phone and Olivia and Nick find Sam, covered in blood. Still, his mother isn’t dead, though she is unconscious from a head injury.

Daniel may be declared free and clear in the legal sense, but he’s far from that in the court of public opinion! Everyone can’t help noting how handy it is that a suicide confession comes just as the defense is about to make their case, and Jack is no different! Especially since his bloody hoody is the evidence that helps sell the story.

But what happens when he makes his concerns known to Daniel and asks him to think about whether Emily has the right to know what she’s marrying into?
