When last we left our heroes, Olivia had Jedi-mind-tricked Peter into fighting (and subsequently killing) David Robert Jones, Astrid had been shot, and Walter had come face-to-face with the supposed-to-be-dead William Bell. Belly takes Walter to his holodeck (see what I did there?) office to show him what the new world will look like. Walter begs him to stop with the whole destroy-two-universes thing, but Belly informs him that the wheels are already in motion and can’t be stopped; his little Genesis Project (see what I did there?) is going to happen, and there is no way to avoid it.

Back at the lab, Olivia and an arm-slinged Peter wonder where in the world Astrid and Walter are. Olivia gets a call from Jessica who is frightened that, ever since helping out Fringe Division, she is being followed. It’s true. She is being followed… but by the sweetest little Observer ever: September. But when he tries to cross the threshold into her house, runes on the floor lock him in place. Huh. An Observer trap. Interesting. When Peter and Olivia arrive, there is no sign of Jessica but there is an octagonal shape cut out of the floor where the runes (and September) were. Olivia gets another call, this one from Broyles. Astrid is in surgery and Walter is missing.

I can’t believe it’s season finale time already! With last week’s undercover story wrapped up, this week will be a wrap up of sorts as Blue Bloods likes to do with their finales, unlike other shows.

Frank has to stop a terrorist attack while Danny has a cold case come back to his life, while dealing with a lingering issue with Jamie (who is dealing with issues himself after the Sanfino assignment made him rethink being a cop).

Supernatural – Recap & Review – There Will Be Blood

There Will Be Blood

Original Air Date: May 11, 2012

Last week on Supernatural the Winchesters found themselves acquainted with Kevin of Advance Placement, who turned out to be a prophet after a freak lightning strike. Kevin translated the Word of God (the tablet that Dick wanted in Dungeons & Dragons) while Castiel’s return to the world of the sane left him a few marbles short of giving a damn. The translation revealed a weapon that could kill the Leviathan, a bone of a righteous man bathed in three kinds of blood.

This episode saw the Winchesters faced with an Alpha vs Leviathan smackdown and the realization that Bobby has spun out of control. Dean’s hatred of Dick Roman also grows when the Leviathan boss targets high-fructose corn syrup – namely the one thing that is in everything worth eating.

CSI:NY – Recap & Review – Near Death (FINALE)

Near Death

Maria – Sr. Reviewer

We open on an extreme close-up of a pill rolling down a table. In slow motion it falls to the floor and hits a pool of blood. Then we fade into a wider shot of the pharmacy. Several people have been shot. One of them is the head of the New York Crime Lab: Mac Taylor.

Anybody who reads my reviews knows I am not the biggest Mac Taylor fan. He’s just written as being too perfect, being a know-it-all and too perfect (I said that already, didn’t I?). I never buy for a second that they would kill off Mac Taylor, they love him too much.

Big Feet

He stripped off his skin and tossed it into the fire and he was in human form again.

Cryptozoology is a quasi-profession/crazy-hobby based on failure, like weathermen. If only they knew about Portland, Grimm…it’s a cryptozoologist’s wet dream. Don’t see Bigfoot? No problem! Here’s a Blutbad for your troubles.

Three cryptozoologists are in the woods Blair Witch style. As with the movie, it’s all fun and games until someone loses a life. Their camera captures a Bigfoot-like creature in Brawny-Paul-Bunyan clothes attacking. The real crime captured on film? Sasquatch’s eco-fashion.
