You know how on the Survivor Reunion show, Jeff never spends enough time talking to the winner and way too much time talking to the obnoxious dillhole? That happens again with this reunion.

We also find out about Greg and whether it was an act and Kat and if that’s how she is all the time in real life. (Yes and yes.)

Kim is playing to wrap up the game she dominated through the whole season. The other four women are playing to upset Kim, or, short of that, just to get to the final three with her.

In the final jury questions, we find out which player matured the most and the answer is surprising. We also find out which player really thinks quite a lot of him or herself and the answer is very not surprising.

Ginsberg, Pete, and Betty try to put things in motion to get what they want. Things don’t go their way. Meanwhile, Don and Roger get back to work, but don’t go about it in the most ethical way. “Every man for himself.”

Pete, by the way, is still thinking about Rory Gilmore. Aren’t we all, Pete. Aren’t we all. We see a lot more of her than we ever did on Gilmore Girls.

A great chess player not only knows their next move; they know how the game will end. Rumpel, my fellows Oncers, is a Grandmaster. Everything he’s done during the inaugural season of Once circled back to his ultimate goal: Power. Do you hear that? I think it’s the beginning of a “we’re not worthy” chant.

In Fairytale, Charming escapes thanks to the Huntsman. The Evil Queen transports Charming to the Enchanted Forest to stop him from finding Snow. Out pops Rumpel to play another chess move.

Desperate Housewives
Give Me the Blame; Finish the Hat

Original Air Date: May 13, 2012

Annette – Staff Writer
annette@thetwocentscorp.com

For eight seasons we’ve laughed, cried and gasped along with the housewives of Wisteria Lane. We’ve endured lying, cheating, divorce, crazy neighbors, murders, fires, and tornadoes. There’s also been laughter and love and a lot of sunshine (I think in eight seasons it only rained twice, one of them being today).

As we begin the finale, Mrs. McClusky is off to hospice care even though she wants to die at home. It’s too hard for Roy to care for Karen alone, so Lynette, Bree, Susan and Gaby said they would all take shifts to take care of her and Karen realizes that her neighbors really are her friends. This is going to be very important later on.

Of course, nothing is official yet, but it seems CBS is doing away with one of its CSI franchises and keeping the other.

According to sources at TVLine, CBS will cancel CSI: Miami, but keep CSI: NY, which will enter its ninth season in the fall.

Other canceled shows include freshmen series Unforgettable, A Gifted Man and NYC 22 (which just debuted last month).

Saturday Night Live – Recap & Review – Will Ferrell

Saturday Night Live
Will Ferrell

Original Air Date: May 12, 2012

Jules – News Editor
jules@thetwocentscorp.com

SNL’s had a habit this season of choosing former cast members as hosts and this week was no exception. Except this time it was Will Ferrell, who has hosted twice before, both season finales and both pretty successful as I remember. So my expectations were a bit higher than normal and I was excited to write this recap. In hindsight, I should remember never to set my sights so high – but then again, they weren’t that high.

So this hosting time for Ferrell was a bit of a roller coaster, riding high in the beginning and taking a big nose dive towards the end. And this is not an understatement. But for now, let’s recap the sketches and see what returning characters Ferrell brought along that actually made the episode.
