It was about a year and a half ago when we first learned of a wedding that would involve our main characters. At that point, we didn’t even know who the groom was- though we did know Marshall and Lily were going to try to get pregnant.

Soon, we learned that Barney, of all people, was the groom, and that many things- some tragic- would get in our married couple’s way. But it’s the end of season 7 now, and a baby and a bride are both waiting to meet us.

We are down to the final four. Each couple will do two dances tonight, one ballroom and one Latin.

With such a tight competition and amazing group of dancers, the judges got really nitpicky tonight. There were little criticisms of one misstep here and there, but that’s what it comes down to when everyone is so good.

History Channel Loses “Swamp People” Star Mitchell Guist

History Channel released a statement today about the passing of one of their show stars.

“We are extremely saddened to report that our friend and beloved member of the Swamp People family, Mitchell Guist, has passed away earlier today. Mitchell passed on the swamp, doing what he loved. We appreciate your respect for the Guist family’s privacy and hope you join us in sending our thoughts and prayers to his brother, Glenn, and the rest of the Guist family. Mitchell Guist was born on May 18, 1964.”

NBC Picks Up ‘Crossbones,’ New Series About Golden Age of Pirates

From the award-winning creator of “Luther,” Neil Cross, and successful producing team of Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald (“Gladiator,” “Men in Black,” “The Ring”) comes an extraordinary action-adventure series “Crossbones” — with an unexpected moral center where one can’t be sure whether the pirates or the British crown are the villains.
Ten episodes of “Crossbones” have been ordered and production will begin in the fall.

The announcement was made today by Robert Greenblatt, Chairman, NBC Entertainment.

FOX Announces Primetime Series For 2012-2013 Season

Peter Rice, Chairman, Entertainment, Fox Networks Group; and Kevin Reilly, President, Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company, today unveiled the FOX primetime schedule for the 2012-2013 television season to the national advertising community during its annual Programming Presentation at the Beacon Theatre.
