As Criss and Liz descend further into baby, er…plant madness, his fear of lack of income rears its ugly head once again. They need to redo the upstairs apartment, but this time, Criss is scared that Liz will bail once she realizes he doesn’t have the money. As Liz puts it, “I don’t bail. I’m still watching Smash, Criss.”
Jack and Avery also find themselves in a tight spot, when he realizes Avery might have not told him the entire truth about what happened with Scott in North Korea. Of course, the only solution to their marital woes is obvious: renew their vows in an elaborate ceremony.
I’ve seen every episode of Grey’s Anatomy since the pilot. As a viewer, I am a survivor of ghost sex, ferry boat crashes, lions, a suicidal gunman, and a bomb in a chest, to name a few. But sitting here, moments after the season eight finale, I am finally emotionally exhausted. Aren’t you?
We all saw the previews that someone would die. We hypothesized who it would be. And sadly, one of my (and many of yours) guesses played out. I for one, am stunned and sad… and still a bit queasy, because that was one of the most graphic Grey’s episodes ever. So let’s cover our bases and mourn the loss together.
We’ve finally reached the penultimate episode, not counting next week’s clip show, of the British Invasion! Who do you think is going to be in the final two? Laura, Sophie or Annaliese? I’m rooting for the Brits myself, because I just can’t stand Annaliese. I’m a little disillusioned with the show as a whole and I can’t wait to see what it looks like when it comes back in October without Nigel and the J’s. I’m not sure I’ll be back reviewing it, I have to spend the summer thinking about it. I think I need a break.
Back to this episode, Sophie is proud of Alisha for standing up for what she believed in, but she really misses her. Annaliese knows that she’s the underdog going into this new week, but she’s certainly not going to give up! Laura thinks she’s the best, but what else is new?

Every so often, the SVU writers decide that rapists and serial killers are too run-of-the-mill. When that happens, we get storylines like this one, based around severed limbs. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
Amanda is playing pool at a bar with Fin and Nick. The men head off just as her old captain shows up. After he flirts with her, she takes a moment to go outside and sees a cab speed by with a screaming girl trapped inside.

ARROW
After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the Pacific. When he returns home to Starling City, his devoted mother Moira, much-beloved sister Thea, and best friend Tommy welcome him home, but they sense Oliver has been changed by his ordeal on the island. While Oliver hides the truth about the man he’s become, he desperately wants to make amends for the actions he took as the boy he was. Most particularly, he seeks reconciliation with his former girlfriend, Laurel Lance. As Oliver reconnects with those closest to him, he secretly creates the persona of Arrow – a vigilante – to right the wrongs of his family, fight the ills of society, and restore Starling City to its former glory. By day, Oliver plays the role of a wealthy, carefree and careless philanderer he used to be – flanked by his devoted chauffeur/bodyguard, John Diggle – while carefully concealing the secret identity he turns to under cover of darkness. However, Laurel’s father, Detective Quentin Lance, is determined to arrest the vigilante operating in his city. Meanwhile, Oliver’s own mother, Moira, knows much more about the deadly shipwreck than she has let on – and is more ruthless than he could ever imagine.
The series stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, Colin Donnell as Tommy, Katie Cassidy as Laurel Lance, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Willa Holland as Thea Queen, with Susanna Thompson as Moira Queen and Paul Blackthorne as Detective Quentin Lance.
The CW Network presented its 2012-13 broadcast schedule today to advertisers, affiliates and national media at the New York City Center in New York City. Hip-hop star Flo Rida opened the show with a medley of his top hits, featuring the world premiere of his newest song, “Let it Roll (Good Times).”
“One of our biggest priorities this year at The CW was adding more original programming, and we’ve added 50 original hours to our schedule in 2012,” said Mark Pedowitz, President, The CW. “With dynamic new dramas for the fall and midseason, and our first-ever summer schedule leading into our October fall launch, this is poised to be a transformative season for The CW.
“The dramas we have for next season are outstanding, with relatable characters and breakout stars. ‘Arrow,’ starring Stephen Amell in the title role, is a bold, edge-of-your-seat action show, based on the popular DC Comics character; ‘Emily Owens, M.D.’ is funny, emotional, and we have caught lightning in a bottle with an incredible lead actor in Mamie Gummer; ‘Beauty and the Beast’ takes a classic love story and adds a procedural element; ‘The Carrie Diaries,’ with the story of a young Carrie Bradshaw set in the 1980s, is perfect for our audience; and ‘Cult’ is a chilling psychological thriller. We have an unbelievable variety of high quality dramas, all speaking to the 18-to-34-year old audience, set for next season.”

ELEMENTARY
Stars Jonny Lee Miller as detective Sherlock Holmes and Lucy Liu as Dr. Joan Watson in a modern-day drama about a crime-solving duo that cracks the NYPD’s most impossible cases. Following his fall from grace in London and a stint in rehab, eccentric Sherlock escapes to Manhattan where his wealthy father forces him to live with his worst nightmare – a sober companion, Dr. Watson. A successful surgeon until she lost a patient and her license three years ago, Watson views her current job as another opportunity to help people, as well as paying a penance. However, the restless Sherlock is nothing like her previous clients. He informs her that none of her expertise as an addiction specialist applies to him and he’s devised his own post-rehab regimen – resuming his work as a police consultant in New York City.
Watson has no choice but to accompany her irascible new charge on his jobs. But Sherlock finds her medical background helpful, and Watson realizes she has a knack for playing investigator. Sherlock’s police contact, Capt. Tobias “Toby” Gregson (Aidan Quinn), knows from previous experience working with Scotland Yard that Sherlock is brilliant at closing cases, and welcomes him as part of the team. With the mischievous Sherlock Holmes now running free in New York solving crimes, it’s simple deduction that he’s going to need someone to keep him grounded, and it’s elementary that it’s a job for Watson.

Here is the episode we have all been waiting for! The season 7 finale promised us action, emotions, an agent saying good bye and a wedding. Boy, did it ever deliver in one of the most action packed-emotion filled episodes of the series.
This week’s opening gave us a rare glimpse of the BAU team’s private lives. JJ and Will are a normal couple playing with Henry (who is definitely a tv kid, as he grew up REALLY fast!) before leaving for work. Hotch and Jack are building forts out of blankets, and Jack invites Beth to spend the night. Reid and Garcia are dressed in costumes and are attending a science fiction conference where she sees Kevin with another woman. They meet Rossi outside who was going to a cigar party, yet as he leaves they read between the lines as Erin Strauss exits the hotel looking fairly disheveled. Morgan and Prentiss are looking at a house for Prentiss to buy, but she is clearly finding reasons NOT to buy.

Feelings are fragile. It can be hurt with words or a thoughtless gesture – you have to treat it with care. Unless you’re family; in that case, feelings are handled like soccer balls. Why not? Family is family, they’re here to forgive and love.
At the Dunphy Compound, the family is up late. Claire is giving Phil advice – he’s planning the best approach to fire Mitchell who has been working, as a favor, for Phil’s firm practically for free. Mitchell has been handing in late assignments due to his hectic life, thus obtaining the reputation of “lazy” – so un-Pritchett.
One week before the end of season 1, and we’re gearing up for the amazing episode promised us. And boy do I hope it’s a great one, because this episode was a snoozer! I’m sure it was meant to have some great emotional tone throughout, but for me, it just seemed to drag on and on. Thank goodness it wasn’t the finale!
It did have two moments that saved it for me, and set up for some great controversy in the finale (like there wasn’t enough already)!
