TheTwoCents is now!

When TwoCents was started by KP back in 2007, it was a site for opinions on anything – movies, music, comics, world views, television and more.

Over the past 5+ years, the dedicated family of volunteers behind TwoCents has focused only on the news, reviews, interviews and more about the world of Television.

Gearing up for Fall TV 2013-2014, it is my great pleasure to launch! The same great coverage – just at a new home with a new name and a new look.

Please head on over there and check out our new ‘address’. Of course, we’re always VERY interested in what you have on your mind – so, share your TwoCents about it with us.

This current page will remain live as our archive database.

Thank you to all our readers for the years here at TheTwoCents, we know we’ll make you even more happy over at!

All my best,
Founder, TwoCentsTV

Breaking Bad
Rabid Dog

Original Air Date: Sep 1, 2013

Jules – Senior News Editor

We’re at the halfway point of the second half of season five and we’re digging ourselves deeper into the end. All I know is, anything and everything is fair game and everyone should keep a good watch behind themselves.

We pick up after last week’s episode ended with Jesse dousing the White house in gasoline. Walt drives up his street and notices Jesse’s car there and knows it’s not good. So naturally, Walt sneaks into the house from the backyard, with his vending machine gun in hand. He goes through the sliding glass door that I’m surprised wasn’t locked, notices the gas can, and a gas soaked rug before even calling out for Jesse to show himself. Walt lurches down the hallway, but alas, no Jesse. Walt goes to Jesse’s car, sees the drugs, but Jesse is totally MIA.

Top Chef Masters
Mindy Kaling and Yo Gabba Gabba

Original Air Date: Aug 28, 2013

Ryan O – Associate Editor

Mindy! Kaling! Yo! Gabba Gabba! But you knew that from the title of the episode, didn’t you? Unfortunately for us, the two do not appear at the same time. However, Mindy is a lot of fun and the Yo Gabba Gabba characters delight and entertain dozens of kids who invade the kitchen.

The downside for the chefs is the prospect of a double elimination in the Elimination Challenge. (One elimination for each Gabba?)

CBS announced today the 11 teams that will embark on a sprint around the globe for $1 million dollars on the new season of THE AMAZING RACE, premiering Sunday, Sept. 29 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Emmy Award winner Phil Keoghan (@philkeoghan) is the host.

THE AMAZING RACE has won the Emmy Award for “Outstanding Reality-Competition Program” nine times in the past 10 years. Currently, the series is nominated for its 10th Emmy in this category.

This season, which marks the 23nd race around the world for the series, will bring back the Double Express Pass twist that was introduced last season, in which the first Team to check in at the first pit stop will earn two “Express Passes” — one to keep for themselves and one that must be given to another Team by the end of the fifth leg of the Race.

As Teams travel through four continents and nine countries, spanning more than 35,000 miles, they will paraglide high above the skies of Iquique, Chile, subject themselves to a bone-chilling plunge in Norway and buckle up for Formula One Racing in Abu Dhabi.

This season’s diverse cast includes former NFL teammates, married ER doctors, theater performers, childhood friends, baseball wives, cousins and more.

She’s Mine

Original Air Date: Aug 27, 2013

Wyner C – Associate Staff Writer

When you have a show about lawyers, you expect great liars. But this bunch is on another level. I’m glad I don’t work here – I’d be eaten alive! Let’s get cracking on this mind-f*ck of an episode where the real culprit of the Hessington pipeline murders is exposed, a cat custody battle gets nasty, someone gets their heart broken, and an expensive full-length mirror is shattered – this may lead to more than 7 years of bad luck (more like 30 years in the slammer).

Peacock interrupts Red and Lite’s romantic dinner to berate Stephen for single-handedly ruining Ava’s case. Lite, using his contacts, found the colonel and Cameron used this to find his star witness. They can never prove Pornstache wiretapped Lite – I mean the NSA does it all the time so it’s really not illegal anymore. Wiretapping is the norm – we shouldn’t expect privacy, right? I don’t – the government can read all of my emails, I live a boring and sad life. Anyway, Harvey warns Stephen that the next time Lite interferes, he will knock his accent back to Britain.

Brianna – TwoCents Reviewer

Helen’s risen from the dead and has offered her help to Annie. But, she’s also brought to light some longstanding issues for Annie and Auggie to deal with and ends with some heartbreaking results.

Things get tense (total understatement) as Auggie and Annie begin to deal with this new reality, his ex-girlfriend or wife, depending on who you ask, is still alive and working with Arthur.
