Will – Sr. Reviewer

Okay folks, here it goes. This is the last review of The Closer and I am very sad. I am just devastated that Brenda is leaving but she did not exit as I thought she would and the way she exited opens up the door for some guest appearances in the future.

I just want to say thank you to all of the hardcore fans who read my reviews each week and I know that you all love Brenda like I do and she will be greatly missed. I do want to let you all know that I will be doing a The Closer wrap up piece that will detail Brenda’s life from season one to now. I will also be reviewing the spin-off of The Closer, Major Crimes.

“The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere the ceremony of innocence is drowned…”

Things just got a tad bit more interesting and darker in Portland, Grimm. When we last saw our Grimm-world, Juliette is in a coma, Hank is going crazy, and Nick is reuniting with his (un)dead mother. This season picks up where we left off.

Kimura, the amateur ninja assassin proved he needed to take more lessons before venturing out to Portland, Grimm. Mommy Grimm totally kicked his booty and Nick can learn a few things from her. Actually, after this hour, he can learn a lot of things from her – starting with studying more. But that’s neither here nor there so let’s begin….

“The Price Is Right” Announces First Ever Search To Find A Male Model

searching for a male model

THE PRICE IS RIGHT is holding its first-ever search to find a male model. The search will air as a five-episode web series competition on PriceIsRight.com and Youtube.com/PriceIsRight in late September. The winner, who will be chosen by viewers, will win a one-week modeling gig on the game show.

The search will begin with an open casting call in Los Angeles on Thursday, August 30, when the male model hopefuls will be interviewed and judged by the show’s female models and show producers on qualities such as their verbal skills, posing and ability to properly showcase a product. Contestants who are selected to move on will participate in a series of challenges designed to reveal who has the best on-camera presence and modeling skills. The judges will eliminate contestants after each challenge, but at certain points, one of the two contestants who finish in the bottom of a challenge may have the chance to win their way back into the competition. At the end of the web series, up to six contestants will remain, where it will be up to the viewers to determine the winner.

Finally, the 2nd Mass has found a large number of humans in Charleston. But their joy quickly turns into dismay as they realize that they are now condemned to live underground, to obey commands form President Arthur Manchester (the great Terry O’Quinn) and give up their weapons. As our soldiers turned over the guns, am I the only one who cried “Nooooooo!!”?

Tom feels pretty good to discover his former teacher/mentor is now the president, who says he can have a place in the government if Tom plays nice and endorses him. But when Tom tells him of the skitter rebellion, Arthur forbids him to tell anyone else. These survivors have no intention of fighting back.

Army Wives – Recap & Review – The War at Home

Army Wives
The War at Home

Original Air Date: Aug 12, 2012

Will – Associate Staff Writer
will@thetwocentscorp.com

I knew this episode of Army Wives would be emotional this week but I didn’t know it would be this emotional! We start off right where we left off with Frank taking two bullets for Michael when the shooting starts at the anniversary celebration for Fort Marshall. I couldn’t tell last week if Michael made it out with no gun shot wounds and this week we find out he made it out unscathed.

Michael is in shock and he also feels very bad for Frank because those bullets were meant for him but this is what soldiers do for each other. Joan briefs Michael at the hospital and explains how the man acted as a worker that was setting up for the even the day before and he planted the gun then. The thing that I did not mention last week that surprised me was that Joan was in a skirt! She was in a skirt in the beginning of this episode too and it is just hard for me to see Joan in a skirt!

TwoCents and Five Questions with Gordon Ramsay (Hotel Hell)

is he the key?

Gordon Ramsay, Celebrity Chef & Host

Everyone knows Gordon Ramsay as that crazy loud chef from Kitchen Nightmares and Hell’s Kitchen. But if you’ve seen Masterchef, or one of his UK-based shows, you’ve seen his kinder side. Witness below his handling of blind contestant Christine’s poor opinion of her own apple pie to get a glance of what I mean.

Tonight Gordon is branching out into attempting to improve hotels across our nation with his new FOX show, Hotel Hell. I participated in a recent conference call with Chef Ramsay and he had loads to share. Let’s jump right in after the video!

TheTwoCents: With your other shows you were all into the kitchen stuff. What made you want to branch out into doing hotels?
