This week we watch a relationship blossom and simultaneously watch someone freak about how that relationship represents a threat in the game. We watch as someone realizes where the hidden immunity idol is and that it’s not really hidden at all. We watch as Lisa Welchel separates herself from the tribe because she’s not socially adept and how it affects her standing in the tribe.

The X Factor
Final Auditions, Part I

This is the point where audition fatigue sets in. Luckily, this week is the last of auditions.

It’s mish-mash of same cities we’ve seen from the first episode. But this time, it’s as if they’re stuffing in all the good auditions they can in one episode. In fact, at one point, we only hear one line from a group of excellent singers. And, for once, I think a real star may have been found.

But who can watch the singers when Britany is wearing a low-cut red dress that shows off way too much? We even get to see her “lucky” make up woman “refresh” her chest.

Families grow – addition of a new member through marriage, baby or a pet. No matter how it expands, it’s a happy occasion…unless you’re turning 65 and about to become a father for the third time. I mean, your grandchildren will be more than a decade older than your third child!!

We pick up the day after Gloria finds out she’s preggers – she’s excited but knows Jay doesn’t like change. The man is turning 65 today and just wants some peace and quiet – the antithesis of babies.

Law & Order: SVU
Lost Reputation/Above Suspicion.

Original Air Date: Sep 26, 2012

Caitlin – Staff Writer

Four months ago, Law & Order: SVU finally decided to do something many other shows consider commonplace for season finales: end the episode on a dramatic cliffhanger that leaves the fates of main characters hanging in the balance.

The character in this case is Captain Cragen, and his situation coming into the two-part season premiere isn’t so much a life or death one as it is one of his innocence, character, and freedom. Though that actually kind of makes it almost life or death for someone as dedicated to police work as he is.

We begin tonight’s episode with a little back-story from last season to remind us where we had left off when we last saw the team. Callen has been involved in a shooting. This ultimately kills the man that he shot and Callen has been arrested. Hetty hands in a letter of resignation, effectively leaving the team and going into retirement. What does this mean for Hetty, Callen and the rest of the team as we go into the new season? One thing is for sure, there is always a lot of fast-paced action! Let’s find out what happens!

Callen has been released from jail. Since the shooting is still under investigation, Sam tells Callen that he has been put on suspension, pending the outcome. He also tells Callen that Hetty’s gone. There is “company” across the street which Callen says that it isn’t his problem. He pushes past Sam and into a taxi telling the driver that he wants to go to Venice. After Callen is driven off, Sam approaches and takes it upon himself to warn Vaziri to stay away. Meanwhile, back at the office, Eric is working on keeping the video of the shooting off the internet. But to do that, he will have to write a kill program. Will he be successful? Every time that the video appears, Eric pulls it, to have another one appear!

NCIS – Recap & Review – Extreme Prejudice

Extreme Prejudice

Original Air Date: Sep 25, 2012

Maria – Associate Staff Writer

Previously on NCIS: There’s an evil criminal mastermind called Harper Dearing who has been blowing up Navy vessels in revenge for his son being reassigned to a ship that blew up. Then he went one step further and straps a bomb to Director Vance’s car, who unwittingly drove it straight into the NCIS parking lot. The bomb went off, and Ducky received a phone call, causing him to collapse at the beach.

Thankfully, Ducky wakes up in the hospital after his heart attack. Newlywed Jimmy Palmer should be spending time with his wife, but he’s been at Ducky’s bedside instead. He doesn’t have any news about the others though. Lucky for the audience, it cuts to the navy yard, where we see Gibbs looking for his team, relieved Abby is alive. He heads into the bullpen, where he finds Tim McGee, who looks shaken but well enough to inform Gibbs that Ziva and Tony are in the elevator. Then he looks down, to see he’s got some shrapnel sticking out of him!
