TNT has ordered the hit legal series Franklin & Bash back to court for a third season. Starring Breckin Meyer and Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Franklin & Bash averaged 4.3 million viewers in its new Tuesday 10 p.m. (ET/PT) timeslot, up 10% over its first season. The buddy drama also averaged 1.8 million adults 18-49 and 2.0 million adults 25-54.

“Franklin & Bash, with its winning cast and some of the sharpest dialogue on television, is a refreshingly clever, light-hearted take on the courtroom drama” said Michael Wright, president, head of programming for TNT, TBS and Turner Classic Movies (TCM). “We look forward to spending another season with Breckin, Mark-Paul and the rest of the terrific cast and crew of Franklin & Bash.”

Makeover felt like the Glee we’re used to, full of disparate storylines treading water. At McKinley we got the Blam merger and a Schuester pity party, while over in New York things are going on surprisingly well for Hummelberry.

Some would say too well.

When we last saw Sherlock Holmes, he’d just broken our hearts in a Reichenbach fall and cross-dressed on a train with Jude Law and his venerable mustache. Regardless of which incarnation holds a special place in your heart, you’ve got to admit that there can never be enough Holmes. Now everyone’s favorite consulting detective is back in an American take on the Holmes mythos, complete with a female Watson and quite a few interesting tattoos.

But did the premiere live up to the hype?

Last episode, things ended on a cliffhanger. Thirteen-year-old Trevor Moran, known best for his YouTube video of dancing in an Apple store, went from bubbly to almost comatose while waiting to hit the stage. The paramedics were rushed in just as he was supposed to go on. We were supposed to be concerned, which we would have been if he hadn’t been shown performing in the coming attractions Wednesday.

Turned out, he was dehydrated from the long day of waiting to perform. After all the hype, I felt a little disappointed that he didn’t have the greatest voice, but he sure did sell it with his engaging stage presence and fun dancing. Simon pointed out the song “I’m Sexy and I Know It” probably wasn’t age appropriate, but LA said he embodied everything X Factor is. And so he secures a spot in Boot Camp.

The building custodian is on leave and Dwight is too cheap to hire someone else so Pam creates a chore wheel that doesn’t spin. Everyone berates her so she makes a real chore wheel. Everyone hates that too so she creates a wheel that actually doesn’t have any chores on it and yeah…it’s way too complicated to bother with. Let’s just say that there’s a rat in the office. Gross.

Jim and Pam are going to Roy’s wedding. Jim doesn’t think this is weird at all. Oh wait, yes he does. I have to agree with him because this is Bizarro Roy. You’ll see.

It’s no secret that Pawnee, Indiana has a bit of a weight problem – after all, their town motto is “First in friendship, fourth in obesity.” In an attempt to fix this, Leslie unveils a new “soda tax” to curb sugar consumption. While she introduces some healthy measures, Andy’s getting into shape for the police academy with help from Tom and superhuman Chris.

When we left our geeky friends last season, Howard and Bernadette got married and he headed off into space. Where he apparently still can’t escape his mother’s voice. “Space is ruined,” he laments after listening to her tell all of NASA that he’s a horrible son because he’s leaving her to go live with his wife. Whatever happens when he gets back, I hope he keeps the facial hair. It looks good on him, but I suppose it will depend on what Bernadette thinks.

And what are the rest of the guys up to? Let’s find out.

That was, without a doubt, the most exhausting hour of television I have ever watched. Between the plot reveals, the new interns, and 5PM, the hour was almost dizzying in its intensity.

Last season ended with the horrific plane crash. But tonight we are spared the immediate aftermath. Tonight we pick-up approximately two to three month after the crash, so let’s get to where and what and who are favorite tortured doctors are up to…

In just one episode, a lot changed from the pace set by season 1. Reagan and Ava are both now unemployed while Chris embarks on a whole new type of work with Reagan’s brother. These adjustments take patience. These characters don’t have much patience.

Reagan wants to love stay-at-home motherhood, but Chris is working out of the garage and getting in the way. Ava runs into Walter, a musician who used to be part of her pre-Ava Show program- at least before she dropped him from her lineup.
