Ryan’s grief eating and Lauren’s lack of passion towards her boyfriend take center stage this week. We also get the return of insightful George, assistant Carrie, insight into Happy Danny and a bonus(?) of Ryan in biking clothes.

There was no sighting of Steve. I wonder with such a big cast if they draw straws and whoever gets the short one isn’t in that weeks’ episode. It’s such a large ensemble and it seems like I’m missing someone each week.

Private Practice – Recap & Review – Good Grief

Private Practice
Good Grief

Original Air Date: Oct 9, 2012

Karen Belgrad – Senior Editor

Last week Private Practice memorialized a fallen character; tonight we grieved two characters from two different shows that exist in the same universe. And we learned that although there is allegedly there are five steps to the grieving process, they all come in different times for various people. And tea is not the cure-all.

We also saw people slide into old habits, but, shockingly, we also saw true character growth from more than one person. From Violet to Addison to Sam, they all broke some destructive personal habits to move towards being their better selves.

Welcome to this weeks episode of Sons of Anarchy. This is a great week since we are over the drama from Opie dying. We have finished his funeral and now it is time to see how the boys will move forward.

This week we will be seeing the deal move forward with the Irish. We will also see how the guys react to Nero joining up with the Sons as a partner. We will also see what we saw with Jax and Jacob Hale that we saw in the preview. Lets see how this goes!

Jess has totally gone over the deep end without a real job. She’s working at a casserole joint and watching TV the rest of the day, doing impressions of sitcom characters. The guys are desperate for her to be inspiring again, to have a career that doesn’t require her to wear a visor.

Meanwhile, a group of younger people moving in across the hall force them to realize that they are aging. Schmidt is blissfully in denial about it, of course. They all go over to the housewarming type thing, but Schmidt is ignored and pretty much branded a square. Everyone likes Jess because she seemed to be in exactly the same place as they are. They even like her Urkel impression.

Dancing With the Stars – Recap & Review – Week 3 Results

Iconic dance night last night was a huge success and created some new iconic dances. But, as good as the dancing was, it’s a double elimination night and we have to send some good dancers home. They split the eliminations up, sending the first couple home half way through the show and the second couple at the end.

Tonight the couples also chose the dances for each other for next week. On the list they had to choose from were dances that have never been done on the show before.

This week the Scooby gang has to identify the victims remains found in a muddy ditch while a couple was trying to get their car out. Was anyone else gagging when the guy thought he swallowed something when the gooey remains shot up in his face? Yep…gotta love it.

We definitely were reminded that the election is coming up as Bones tells us what she would do if she ran for President. We also get a lot of talk about the issue of exotic animals being held as pets and the fact that Sweets is now second-guessing the idea of moving in with Daisy.

Secret’s Safe With Me

In probably the creepiest opening in the show’s history – and therefore my favorite – the victim lies dying on the floor, using some of her spilled blood to write a message before the light fades from her eyes.

Cut to Chez Castle, where Alexis is packing for college. She has way too much stuff, according to her dad, but she’s obviously excited. Martha pulls Castle aside and tells him that before she leaves he might want to let her in on whats going on between him and Beckett, just in case she drops by unannounced and finds out the traumatic childhood way. Even though I saw the sneak peeks for the episode I’m not exactly surprised that Martha knew what was going on. She seems like that kind of mom.

In 1492, Christopher Columbus sailed the ocean blue. But fifteen years after the blackout, steamships and tall ships no longer exist. In this Revolution episode, coincidentally on Columbus Day, flashback Maggie tried desperately to sail across the Atlantic to get home to England, but there were no ships.

The episode starts with Charlie running away from a militia soldier, having stolen his rations. He catches up with her, but it’s a trap. Miles knocks the soldier down. Miles introduces himself, and Charlie can see that the soldier is frightened. His reputation precedes him. Miles asks if Captain Tom Neville has passed by. The soldier says Neville passed through a day ago and are heading to Noblesville.
