Welcome to the sixth week of Sons of Anarchy! Last week had a lot of humor and a lot of fun. This week I have a feeling that they are going to take us back on a more serious path.

There are a lot of different things that still need to be settled with the club. Jax still has no idea that the home invasions have anything to do with his own club. Gemma and Nero are done now because Jax made him promise that he would end that relationship. Also now that the club is getting in business with Nero, they have to figure out how to work in the escort business. Lets see where this goes!

Emily Owens, M.D. – Recap & Review – Pilot

Emily Owens is the last of The CW’s 3 fall pilots to air, and it’s pretty clear that the network didn’t save their best show for last. I decided to give the show a shot after I saw the trailer the network put up from their upfronts in May. After watching the boring A Gifted Man last year, I was ready for a female led medical drama aimed at the 18-34 set. Sadly, I don’t think the pilot met my already-lowered expectations.

So why was I not a fan? Read on for the recap.

Faced with new dances assigned to them by their competition, last night’s performances were a rousing success. Out of their comfort zones, both the pros and the stars handled themselves with aplomb.

As a reminder, Gilles & Peta and Shawn & Derek are tied for the lead with a near perfect 39.5. At the bottom of the leader board are Kirstie & Maks, finishing with a 30. After several surprising eliminations the last few weeks, read on to find out who goes home tonight.

Castle – Recap & Review – Murder He Wrote

Castle
Murder He Wrote

Original Air Date: Oct 15, 2012

How adorable is it that Alexis and Martha are all excited about Castle’s romantic weekend? They’re not alone. It seemed like the entire fandom wanted to skip over the last two episodes, what with all the leaked promo pics and info. Anyway. Beckett has a countdown set up on her computer, clearly excited. But then she notices that Castle is there, in the precinct. She starts to panic and I can understand why. When has he ever just hung around when no case was open?

Ryan and Esposito chime in on her big weekend, and Castle has to play along about not knowing who her boyfriend is. It’s cringeworthy funny because I found myself screaming at the screen to Castle to act more natural. Ryan and Esposito watch them go seemingly their separate ways and decide that enough is enough. They need to find out who Beckett’s boyfriend is. This cannot end well.

After their Vegas wedding, Max and Naomi’s relationship gets bashed in the tabloids and it starts to affect Max’s company stock. The couple decides to do some damage control by holding a daytime reception to get back in the public’s good graces. The reception, of course, does not go off without a hitch. There are also some new couples that show up together at the reception, and one of them is definitely over by the end of the episode.

Just when you think the dancing can’t get any better, the stars take it to a whole new level. This week it’s not just the stars who are out of their comfort zone – even some of the pros struggle with styles they’ve never done before, but everyone really steps up to the challenge.

Paula Abdul is a guest judge tonight – as an added judge, not a replacement. So the couples will each get 4 scores. Paula’s will be 3rd in the write up. And among those scores, 10 paddles start getting waved around like crazy.
