Last week, the episode ended with Jane bringing a suitcase she found into her bedroom. As she slept, it appeared that something was trying to escape, hands stretching out the side of the case. Annie was trapped in her apartment, tied to a chair, victim of Kandinsky (who became a vicious mobster, after Annie wrote his story.)

This week, we start with Tony delivery newspapers to the residents of the Drake. Kandinsky retrieves a paper and walks in reading it to Annie, who is still tied to the chair. She tries to tell him that she made the story up, not knowing that it would come true. In fear for her life, she tells Kandinsky that Ned Shipley, her boss was the source of the article.

Last week, in a stunning (and brilliant) move, Victoria publicly announced her indiscretion with David Clarke and that Charlotte was their daughter. Emily also found out that her mom was alive and well and in a romantic relationship with the now deceased white haired man (Gordon).

At the beginning of this episode, Victoria is watching a maid clean blood up off of their beautiful floor, while holding a visitor sign-in-log and a check written out by her. She looks rather shaken and promptly crumbles these, tossing them into the fireplace. Where did the blood come from? Why is a maid cleaning it? Why is she shaken?

It takes courage to let someone into your life. Courage doesn’t come easily to everyone. For Rumpel, courage is not a skill he lists on his résumé. He’s done some cowardly things in his life – many of which were exposed in this episode. Let’s take a look, shall we?

In Fairytale (pre-curse), pre-demon Rumpel finds his wife, Milah, cavorting with a highly eye-lined man in a tavern. The man is a looker named Killian Jones. You can see why Milah wants to have drinks with Killian and not go home with Rumpel – drinks with a rocker that singlehandedly keeps Covergirl in business vs weak husband. Even if Rumpel is not a “hero” in the conventional sense, calling him names and degrading him in public is vile. Milah is something else (manure) and Rumpel is lucky she’s not in his life – too bad he didn’t see it that way.

Bangladesh is up next after Indonesia. The country is very densely populated and can be difficult but teams don’t encounter any significant problems from taxi drivers (well, there’s a little bit). They make up for that by making small mistakes of their own.

One team makes a really interesting choice at the Detour by choosing a task that emphasizes manual dexterity over brute strength, which this team has in abundance.

This hour was an interesting combination. It continued the slow build of the Ukrainian stripper/trafficking/murder storyline, it began the build of the Hannah McKay arc, and it gave us one of the more intense chase scenes in recent memory, even if the outcome was a forgone conclusion. It also gave us a tremendous false lead.

Because I am sorry to report, that I have been unable to find a “real” twitter account for Vince Masuka, despite his declaration of being quite popular on the site. And that may go down as this season’s greatest disappointment. But let’s cover what else went down this hour.

A musical episode from CSI:NY this week, as the events are set to mostly unreleased music from Green Day. And what events they are. Mac is still suffering with aphasia, not remembering the name for the color red. He is understandably distraught and frustrated by it, but there’s no cure.

Meanwhile, Mr. Wescott walks into his empty classroom and writes an empowering message on the blackboard. Then, at a busy campaign event for a Grant Hamilton, he starts shooting. Detectives Danny and Lindsay Messer are there with their daughter, Lucy!

“I thought of making myself a beautiful wooden marionette. It must be wonderful, one that can dance, fence, and turn somersaults.”

Young Wesen are wreaking havoc in Portland, Grimm. Last week it was a runaway from Children of the Corn – now, it’s a geek with Ivy League ambition gone murderous. Talk about revenge of the nerds!

Tom’s in hot water with the law after crashing his car while driving and Tweeting, and as punishment he must stay away from screens of any kind for an entire week and surrender his iPhone. This is pretty much the impossible for social media addict Tom, but Ron tries to introduce him to the great outdoors to get his mind off technology.

Leslie is tasked with providing a sex education seminar but not for the usual teenagers. An STD epidemic has broken out among Pawnee’s senior citizens and it’s up to Leslie to educate them, but things take a rough turn when Marsha and Marshall of the town’s family stability foundation insist she adopt an “abstinence-only” approach.

Private Practice To End After 13-Episode Sixth Season

private practice

Shonda Rhimes has announced via her website that Private Practice will end after this season’s thirteen episode order. Kate Walsh had previously announced that she wouldn’t return after this fall.

From Shondaland
I’m sad to say that Private Practice’s run will end after episode 613 this season. There was a lot of discussion and debate but, in the end, the guys at the network and the studio and I all decided that Private Practice was reaching its finish line. Creatively, we are all extremely proud of the show and especially proud of this season — which you will all soon discover is a creative renaissance. I can’t wait for you to see it.

It’s heartbreaking to end. Truly. I feel so lucky to write for these characters and tell these stories and I truly feel this show has taught me so much as a writer. And there’s a family here, of crew and cast, people who have bonded over these past five and a half seasons. It’s rare for a show to go for more than 100 episodes and we are incredibly proud to have been such a show. And we’re grateful to all of you for spending time with us for an hour every week for the last 6 years. It’s meant the world.

There’s no word if Shonda will craft a satisfying finale for fans or if it will end on a cliffhanger.

On her way to work one morning, Liz sees Jack kiss a mystery blonde goodbye and he realizes he’s been caught in the middle of a “walk of shame.” Instead of judging, the new sex-positive Liz calls it the “stride of pride” and Jack admits he’s been seeing a group of women- one for every event that may arise. He feels pretty important, but what happens when he finds out one of the women is also seeing other people, including Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte?

While Jenna battles her age in the tabloids with an interesting twist, Liz and Tracy butt heads when she learns he doesn’t think women are funny.
