Welcome to week 8 of Sons of Anarchy. Sadly this season is dwindling down with only 5 weeks to go… This is going to be rough. This season has had a lot of twists and turns and it is making me wonder, who is going to be alive for the last two seasons that this is supposed to have.

After last week, I am still heartbroken about what happened to Abel. As far as we can tell, he was badly injured in the car accident that Gemma was in. Jax was involved in a drive by. It seems to be related to their new relationship with Pope most likely. Tig and Tara are up at the cabin while both incidents are happening. Also, the guys are attempting to fix what has been happening with the home invasions, and now that Jax has confronted Clay, he is going to be on his guard 100 percent. Lets see how this goes.

Because of Hurricane Sandy and so many people not being able to vote for tonight’s elimination, next week there will not be an elimination. While this is very nice, it just sort of delays the inevitable, and at some point they will have to do another double elimination. But it’s a nice gesture.

That being said, it’s not long into the show that Tom tells us that tonight might be the most surprising elimination yet. Read on to find how doesn’t get to dance another week.

It’s a rough world out there, and it’s defended by men with guns. As Jack Nicholson might say “Who’s gonna do it? You, Lieutenant Weinberg?” In this episode, Miles says to Aaron: “What do you want me to do? There are thirty armed guards here. And instead of Nora, I got you.” Ouch. Flashbacks for Aaron “the google guy” show how down on himself he was after the blackout. But even if not a headstrong warrior or hunter, he has a certain noble quality to him.

Nora’s cut is infected and they need to get her help. Miles has commandeered a horse and wagon from the Monroe militia and takes the group to a large estate owned by an old acquaintance named Drexel. Drexel is the regional druglord who supplies heroin to half of the Monroe Republic. He holds Miles’ crew at gunpoint at first, but calls it a prank.

Aren’t you all glad the hiatus is over? Sure it was just a week, but if you caught the sneak peeks I can’t imagine how you were able to wait patiently for this episode.

We open up on Tessa Horton, hung from the ceiling of her living room. Her roommate – back from a business trip – finds her. It’s possible the killer was watching her, knew that her roommate would be out of town. She was drugged, strangled to death, and then hung. Her forehead bears a strange marking, carved into her flesh.

The Walking Dead – Recap & Review – Walk With Me

The Walking Dead
Walk With Me

Original Air Date: Oct 28, 2012

Wait… a helicopter? That speaks to civilization! But when it crashes just shy of the opening credits, you know it’s not good. But really, when are things ever puppies and rainbows on The Walking Dead? Michonne and Andrea follow the smoke from the crashed helicopter, hoping to find survivors or maybe a ride. Andrea is still very flu-y, so Michonne checks the crash site. She sees the bodies of several soldiers plus a pilot that is perhaps alive. But before she can help, some trucks drive up. She retreats to the bushes with Andrea and her ‘Pets’ to watch.

Enter The Governor. He assess the situation, loads the wounded pilot into a truck, and then sticks a knife into the head of each crash victim. Granted, they’ve turned, but Andrea and Michonne can’t see that, so they are rightly appalled. As stray Walkers arrive at the site, drawn by the noise, this new group picks them off one by one. Michonne’s pets start to get a little antsy and draw the attention of the Governor. To keep their location secret, Michonne slices the heads off of her pets like a ninja. Too bad one of the Governor’s men had already snuck up on the women from behind: Well, hello there, Merle (complete with Swiss Army attachments). Welcome back.

Dancing With the Stars
Week 6

Original Air Date: Oct 29, 2012

Annette – Staff Writer

It’s country night on the Dancing With the Stars. This is a first for me. Did they ever do a country night before? I’m starting to think they’re running out of gimmicks. Anyway, Little Big Town kicks off the night with a performance. Big & Rich and Cowboy Troy also make appearances.

Tonight is also the first group dance, also known as chaos on the floor. The judges will award two bonus points to the couple they find most entertaining. Since there was no elimination last week, last week’s scores will be added to the individual and group scores from tonight. Sabrina and Louis were at the top of the leader board after last week’s performances, read on to find out if they could hang on to the lead.
