I’m just so grateful for a fun, fan-fueled murder episode after the heaping plate of drama I scarfed down last week. We open up on a fan experience for the show Nebula 9 at a science fiction convention. Everything goes off smoothly until a couple of fans open up the Oracle pod and discover that not only is the Oracle real, she’s dead. Castle is at the convention already, signing copies of his Derrik Storm graphic novel. As soon as he and Beckett make their way to the fake set I know this is going to be a fun episode peppered with plenty of little shout outs to all of my favorite shows and movies.

The victim is Annabelle Collins, a diehard Nebula 9 fan who did whatever she could to keep the fandom alive after its tedious brief 12-episode run. She was the master behind organizing the fan experience, contacting one of the original actors to get in on the action. She even managed to buy the rights to the show (which allowed her to make webisodes continuing the show’s storyline). Her best friend revealed that there were fans who thought very badly of Annabelle, even sending her death threats.

The Walking Dead – Recap & Review – Killer Within

I’m sorry… was that a season finale? No? Sweeps, maybe? No? It was just episode four? Well where in the world do we go from here? Complete and devastating carnage, that’s what “Killer Within” was. I’m still trying to pick myself up off the floor. It’s very hard to type from down here.

An unknown person is baiting Walkers through the maze of fencing within the prison, leading them like a creepy pied piper. Is this the person who was watching Carol practice c-sections on dead ladies? Perhaps. I would say this isn’t going to turn out well, but it’s The Walking Dead. Nothing turns out well.

“I just want us to be friends.” In this episode, we catch quick glimpses of Ben’s friends: Grace Beaumont and a gentleman named Bradley. But animosity abounds: between Rachel and Brad, Randall and Grace, and possibly Aaron and Miles.

Miles and Co. stumble into a band of orphans. The militia has taken the oldest orphan, Peter. Peter’s brother Michael wants to lead a squad of orphans to rescue Peter, but Charlie offers to rescue Peter as long as Michael and his friends stay put. Miles doesn’t normally agree to side missions, but he does this time. Nora surmises it is because when these kids were orphaned seven or eight years ago by the Monroe Militia, Miles had been in charge.

For the first time ever, DWTS brings us fusion dances. Two different dance styles mixed together and danced to one song. I fully expected this to be a disaster, or at the least, not very entertaining. Fortunately, I underestimated both the talents of the pros as choreographers and the stars as dancers.

The couples also participated in a swing dance marathon. All seven couples performed and earned points based on how long they last during the marathon. The marathons are always a little crazy and a lot of fun.

Well, I know you are all aware that I do love a good, gruesome, grotesque body in the beginning of the show…and we got it. When I find myself with an open-jawed disgusted look on my face in the first 5 minutes of the show, I know it’s going to be a good one. I was right.

While the Squint team tries to figure out the murder of woman who sells applesauce, Sweets is living in his office ever since the break up with Daisy. But Booth offers him a day or two stay at the house so he can find a place of his own.You can just see him regret the offer as soon as he said it.

Hurricane Sandy pushed this episode back a week. Many parts of the country and world are still recovering, but in the New York City of HIMYM, all is well. Or at least it was before the majority of the characters engaged in doomed relationships.

If we didn’t already know things might not go totally well tonight, the episode’s title clears matters up quickly. And then there’s the way the episode starts. With Barney making a dog his wingman. …Okay, but after that, we get to the drama.

At the end of last week’s episode, a creepy man named Peter returned from the past and tried to kill Jane. She had been warned by ghostly images of his young daughter who had confused Jane by telling her that Peter had escaped from a suitcase that Jane had found in the basement. Jane is saved when she ducks Peter’s hatchet and he slams it into the wall, opening it to a number of birds that attack him.

During this week, Gavin spends a great deal of time trying to figure out who had orchestrated the robbery of the Drake and the attack on Olivia. We later find out that Sam, one of Gavin’s trusted advisors had provided information to Victor Shaw about the box and how to get it. Later, Gavin delivers Sam’s severed hand to Shaw after threatening him if he refuses to leave the Doran’s alone.
When Jane finally meets with the police, they examine the locations where she was attacked. They are very skeptical of her story, especially when the dumb-waiter she was trapped in appears unused and filled with cobwebs. They do not take the attack seriously, believing that Jane may have a mental illness, until they later find evidence about the man who had been killed while helping Jane.

Ming in Charge

We open on Ming arriving at the Stash. He’s no sooner through the door when the phone starts ringing. It’s Walter, he and Mike are under the weather so Ming will have to run the store. Bryan eventually shows up, but he’s no help to Ming.

Brian O’Halloran, Dante himself, arrives shortly after the store opens to pick up some convention merch. Ming figures something like “Hey, he played a clerk in a movie one time so he’d be perfect to help out around here.” O’Halloran helps ring up some customers and even pitches in on the negotiations with customers trying to sell their wares. He signs a few autographs and Bryan gives him a hard time about it. Even though he’s just there to try and help Ming! He’s not even supposed to be there today.
