Andy does a video call from the boat. He’s incredibly sunburned and he loses his drinking water overboard. He’s going kind of crazy and then his laptop falls overboard too. It’s quite painful. Oh, and he’s only been sailing 2 days so far.

David Wallace calls into the office to let them know that the Scranton White Pages is in the market for a new paper account. David asks Dwight to handle it. Phyllis says they can’t send Dwight because the contact there is a woman and Dwight is not good with women.

30 Rock
Aunt Phatso vs. Jack Donaghy

Original Air Date: Nov 15, 2012

Valentina D. – Senior Reviewer

It’s tough being Jack Donaghy (not really), but it’s even tougher when Tracy Jordan makes you the villain in his new comedy, Aunt Phatso vs. Jack Donaghy. When Jack realizes a sequel is in the works, what lengths will he go to in order to make Tracy shut it down?

After years of complaining about her feet, Liz finally decides to undergo bunion surgery but first, she has a million TGS-related problems to take care of. The writers need to rewrite this week’s show and as usual, haven’t written a word. Hazel finally sees her moment to take charge and assures Liz she’ll take care of everything. As suspected, Hazel has ulterior motives. Will she bring TGS crashing down in just a single night?

Last Resort – Recap & Review – Nuke It Out

Last Resort
Nuke It Out

Original Air Date: Nov 15, 2012

Last episode, Sam kissed Sophie. This episode, Grace and James kiss; Sam’s friend Paul briefly kisses Christine; and Cortez wants to kiss Chaplin?  There’s more action than an “every kiss begins with Kay” commercial, which I believe there were a few during the breaks. Oh, and while this is happening, Chaplin and Julian engage in a fun mob war.

We start with Sam rummaging through the bags of the roughly 30 sailors who were onboard the Colorado when the captain’s missile key went missing. Shepard is dismayed that the XO doesn’t trust her. Chaplin tells Sam they need to find the key before the saboteur can report to Washington that Colorado can no longer fire the nukes.

Second Opinion

Last week may have brought us the thirty second dance party, but this hour gave us something even better… Cristina Yang in Seattle fulltime and functioning. Forget letters to Santa, one of our wishes has already come true.

Unlike last week’s Cristina-Meredith centric episode, this hour was jam packed with …well… everyone. And from the silly (email recipient errors) to the sublime (Arizona!), this hour had its share of weepy moments with emotional growth actually factored in. It wasn’t perfect, but it was definitely the show we mostly love.

Thanksgiving

Original Air Date: Nov 15, 2012

Caitlin – Senior Staff Writer

It’s been a few weeks since we last saw Up All Night. Since the last new episode, it was announced that, after an extended hiatus, the show will return as a multi-cam sitcom, meaning it’ll look and be set up quite differently than it is now.

Opinions have differed on this move and NBC’s motives. If you’re one of those who aren’t thrilled about the change, enjoy these last “old” episodes while you can. Tonight, get in the spirit of Thanksgiving a week early with Reagan, Chris, and the gang.

This week our hooded hero is back to fight bank-robbers, while his best friend is hitting on the girl he has the hots for. Yep, Tommy has his eye on Laurel and is trying his very best to get closer to her.

The show starts off with a bank heist and an off duty cop is shot. When all the hostages are let go, the confusion covers the robbers get away. Meanwhile, back at the bat cave, we are treated to a shirtless Oliver (thank you writers) and he is teaching Mr. Diggle some of his mighty fighting skills. Diggle tells him of the bank robbers and wants Oli to catch them. I think Oli needs to jump out of his zone and fight some of the crime not on daddy dearest’s list.

FX Renews American Horror Story for Season 3

photo: fx

FX has renewed “American Horror Story” for a third season and Jessica Lange will return as well. The new 13 episode season will premiere fall 2013.

“With ‘American Horror Story: Asylum,’ Ryan and Brad have raised the bar in every way from Murder House, the first American Horror Story miniseries,” John Landgraf, president and general manager of FX Networks, said in a statement. “And their original idea — the notion of doing an anthological series of miniseries with a repertory cast — has proven groundbreaking, wildly successful and will prove to be trendsetting. We can’t wait to see what deviously brilliant ideas they come up with for their third miniseries.”
