Now We Know: Han Solo vs. Indiana Jones

OK, it’s one of those Comic-Con magical moment — Harrison Ford made his second Con appearance in support of his new film Ender’s Game on Thursday.
While Ford had a lot to say about the film (and keep watching the site for that story), some of the crowd couldn’t resist asking questions about his iconic characters. While Ford rolled his eyes at the questions, having obviously been asked many, many times before, he begrudgingly answered.
QUESTION: If Han Solo and Indiana Jones met, what would they say to each other?
ANSWER: Hi? How are You?
QUESTION: I wanted to be Indiana Jones as a kid. Would Han Solo have been a good solider in Ender’s Game?
ANSWER: You and I have a lot in common. I dreamed of being Indiana Jones when I was younger. (pause) Not so much anymore.
I don’t think that Han Solo would be a good soldier in anyone’s army. He’s what we’d call today an independent contractor.
Ford bolted out the second the panel finished — probably to be sure no one asked him further questions. Do you blame him?
