Latin night continues tonight with the results show. Last night’s show was a great one and I am sure that tonight will impress as well. Do you have any thoughts on who may be the one to go home tonight? Let’s get things started and see what happens!

Tonight starts off with the professionals dancing to Harry Belafonte’s “Shake, Shake Senora.” It was a great song to start the night off to, don’t you think? I think of the movie Beetlejuice every time I hear it. Does it ever remind you of anything?

We are reminded that Derek & Kellie have immunity and therefore cannot be eliminated this evening. What do you think of that little twist last night? Do you think they should bring that back again next season?

Tonight’s entertainment starts off with Michael Buble singing “Come Dance With Me” while the professional dancers perform for the audience. There is definitely a little Latin flair in the music. Then again, the band always keeps the music the same but it sounds so differently, don’t you think? Is it me, or does every time he is on TV he looks like he is dressed as a Big Band leader? Also, did anyone else notice that he only sang once when usually the performers sing more than one song? There was nobody else for entertainment, so I don’t understand why.

The encore dance for this week is Aly & Mark dancing the Salsa. I have to say that I agree with Len that it was fun, but that’s where it stopped for me. I thought that Aly was really stiff last night and it showed again tonight. Not sure why, really, but she needs to loosen up a little bit. Just an observation I made.

Tonight’s spotlight dance was by Twanda Jones. She is from Camden, New Jersey. She lives in one of the most dangerous cities in the world. Even though she uses an old water tower that has no windows or mirrors for her studio, Twanda is trying to make a difference in her community, making sure that her dancers have a sense of family and know that someone cares for and loves them. The dance that was put together was great and a real expression of whom they are. We even find out that the people of Dancing With The Stars will be donating mirrors to Twanda and her dancers! What a generous offer for a deserving bunch of ladies!

The part of the show that really moved me was that of the story of Adrianne Haslet-Davis. Adrianne is a professional dancer who was at the Marathon with her husband who just came home from a tour in Afghanistan. She was injured in the Boston bombings and lost a foot. Adrianne is vowing to come back and not let this amputation stop her. Dancing With The Stars is going to follow her progress as she recovers. One day, when she is ready, she will dance in the ballroom.

Going home
Andy & Sharna

Even though I called it last night, I was still holding out hope that maybe, just maybe he wouldn’t be sent home. It was emotional when Andy was moved to tears. He seemed genuinely happy that he had the experience.

Tune in tomorrow morning to Good Morning America for an interview with Andy & Sharna.

What did you think of this week’s shows? Was Latin Night a success and something you would like to see done again? What about the judges’ comments? Were they harsh, spot on or indifferent in your mind? How do you feel about Andy being sent home?
