Tonight’s episode begins with a recap from last week’s premiere episode. I am always interested in seeing it again, as I am sure all of you are. It gives us all the insight on how the couples prepared for their dances that were performed last week as well as a look back at last week’s premiere. Remember this, the scores that they got last week and the phone calls, texts and Facebook votes all count towards tomorrow’s elimination!

Who will do well tonight? Who will go home tomorrow? We are about to find out how well our couples did tonight in preparation for tomorrow’s elimination!

Ingo Rademacher & Kym Johnson – Quickstep (6, 7, 7=20) (TOTAL 40)
The judges are a bit divided tonight. Len was happy with their dance compared to last week. Bruno said they have the speed and aptitude to do well. Carrie Ann said that the frame was a little off and that is something that they need to work on.

Dorothy Hamill & Tristen MacManus– Jive (5, 5, 5=15) (TOTAL 36)
Dorothy is dancing while recovering from an ankle injury. Bruno said that was a brave attempt. Dorothy lost her footing a number of times. She needs to relax her shoulders and things will go much more freely. Carrie Ann said she has such a quality of movement. Dorothy moves beautifully. Len said it didn’t quite deliver. It was a mess.

Jacoby Jones & Karina Smirnoff – Jazz (8, 7, 8=23) (TOTAL 43)
The audience loved them. Carrie Ann said that they were rocking. They represented and Jacoby’s lines were fantastic. Len said it was fun and enjoyed watching it. He loved it! Bruno said it was spot on.

Victor Ortiz & Lindsey Arnold – Jive (6, 6, 6=18) (TOTAL 36)
They had a tough week in practice this week and Victor almost walked out. They have fans in the audience. Len said it had energy, but it didn’t knock his socks off. It could have been sharper and cleaner. It was a full on Jive but it was scruffy. Bruno said Victor has to get his kicks and flicks under him and has to hit the beat, not go through it. Carrie Ann said she sometimes like to give bonus points because they’re having fun but couldn’t this time. Victor was on the right track.

Wynonna Judd & Tony Dolovani – Quickstep (6, 6, 6=18) (TOTAL 36)
Bruno said it started as a great quickstep but ended as more of a stroll. Carrie Ann said they are on the right track. They need to take risks – they’re playing it too safe. Len said the engine was running but that they never got out of first gear. Posture also needs improving.

Zendaya & Val Chmerkovsky – Jive (9, 8, 9=26) (TOTAL 50)
Carrie Ann said that Zendaya killed it and great job! Len said they were fantastic. Bruno said that a star is born, big time!

Andy Dick & Sharna Burgess – Jazz (7, 6, 7=20) (TOTAL 37)
The audience loved it. Len said that their dance was a laugh. They may not be the best but they come out committed. It was fun to watch. Bruno said he loved it for the monster jam. Carrie Ann said they were lucky that they had jazz because they could be wacky and demented.

Sean Lowe & Peeta Murgatroyd – Jive (7,6,7=20) (TOTAL 39)
Bruno said Sean has the charm and charisma. It was a little more Lindy Hop and Jitterbug than Jive. Carrie Ann said Sean needs to learn to feel the music. When he doesn’t feel it, he falls out of step with Peeta. Len said he didn’t see enough Jive.

Alexandra Raisman & Mark Ballas – Quickstep (8, 8, 8=24) (TOTAL 45)
Carrie Ann said it was the best quickstep of the night. Len said it was terrific and well done. Bruno said they made the dance a very personal skin to it.

Lisa Vanderpump & Gleb Savchenko – Jive (6, 6, 6=18) (TOTAL 36)
Len said they really never took off on that dance for him. It was neat and precise but not brilliant. Bruno said they need to place and contain their movements. Carrie Ann said Lisa holds herself with such refinement, but needs to let go a little bit if she is going to go far in the competition.

D.L. Hughley & Cheryl Burke – Quickstep (5, 5, 6=16) (TOTAL 28)
The whole audience was on their feet! Bruno said he noticed that DL worked very hard this week. He did a good job, but is no Fred Astaire. Carrie Ann said DL still has a lot of work to do but is on the right track. Len said DL improved over last week.

Kellie Pickler & Derek Hough – Jazz (9, 8, 9=26) (TOTAL 47)
Standing ovation from the audience and Carrie Ann! Carrie said it was amazing and was blown away. Len said where last week was a spout, this week was a fire! Bruno said it was technically superb!
