Erin is helping Darryl sneak out so he can go to work in Philly. What Erin doesn’t know is that everyone knows Darryl has been using his sick days. Darryl just felt bad for her because she seemed so excited about the ruse. Yay, it’s time for another writer’s game of “How Stupid Can We Make Erin?”
Someone spray painted orange butts over Pam’s mural. She’s really upset about it, naturally. She talking heads that she’s all alone because her boss and her husband are gone. Brian bumps her with the boom mike and makes her smile. They are not really going to have her fall for Brian are they? Really?
Pam calls a meeting to find out who the culprit is. No one cares to help except Dwight and Nellie, of course. They find out it was Frank from the warehouse. Frank is not a bit sorry, as evidenced in his HR meeting with Toby, who is clearly terrified of the man. Toby’s been rendered useless, as always, but Pam wants revenge. Who better to enlist than Dwight? They send Clark into the warehouse as a mole to find out more about Frank, who finds out Frank’s truck is his most treasured possession. Pam and Dwight use water based paint to graffiti it, Frank catches them, and physically goes after Pam. Brian steps in and saves the day. Later we see Pam and Brian talking and he offers to be there for her whenever she needs him. I do not want to go here. At all.
Angela is leaving work early because it’s her baby’s birthday party. The senator invited Oscar and Angela is not happy about that. She decides if Robert gets to have a date, so should she. She asks Dwight but he doesn’t want to go. Kevin offers, Angela says no, but Kevin says that he’ll just stay all alone with the money instead. Angela agrees because it’s the lesser of two evils. Turns out that they just needed more ethnic people for pictures, and that’s why Oscar was invited. Kevin has one of his moments of genius where he admonishes Robert for mistreating the two people who love him, Angela and Oscar.
Darryl and Jim are sharing a sublet apartment while they work in Philly. Jim is super messy and Darryl is neat. Jim is loving the bachelor life while simultaneously annoying Darryl. Jim takes Darryl’s thermos and when Darryl says something about it, Jim is kind of a jerk about it. Ok, so what happened to Jim, guys? I am not a bit comfortable with this. Darryl and Jim make up, but Pam is struggling back in Scranton.
They cannot end this show with Pam and Jim breaking up. It’s just wrong. How do you think they’ll leave us, together or apart? Leave your thoughts in the comments!
