In this episode, Alicia reminds us that she is the most powerful player in the game. Is she? Her power does grow this week. What does she do with it?

And what about Greg? How is he still hanging around? Will he be able to continue to convince people that keeping him around is in their best interest? Will he put women’s underwear on his head?

Pre-credits

Night 33. Greg talks to Kim about the best plan for her. He thinks her final three include Alicia and Christina. She thinks that’s good but isn’t sure if Alicia will want to face her at the end (and thus wouldn’t vote with her on the way to the end). Greg says Chelsea is her biggest threat. In a solo-view, Kim acknowledges that he even though he’s Greg, what’s he’s saying makes sense.

Greg then tells Alicia he’ll take her up to the rest of the jury after he’s eliminated in order to help her beat Kim. He solo-views that he’s approached the game in segments: not be voted out first, make it to the merge, make it to see his wife, and now make it to the final four.

Pre-Challenge

Chelsea solo-views that she feels like it’s her, Kim, and Sabrina against Alicia, Greg, and Christina.

Chelsea talks strategy with Christina as they get tree mail including how they need to work against Alicia and Greg. They also promise to take each other on reward if they win the challenge. Chelsea asks, and Christina agrees, to keep it quiet. When she gets back to camp, Christina immediately tells Kim, Alicia, and Greg.

Kim then tells Chelsea, who isn’t happy. Kim tells Chelsea to keep calm and just sit on the information for now.

Reward Challenge!

Each person has to run to post, grab a disk at the top of the post, spin around until the disk unscrews, do that two more times, put the three disks (which fit inside each other) onto a table and line up top and bottom halves of numbers until you can get three numbers to use on a wheel to release a lock. Whatever, just know that everyone gets really dizzy (but no one fell down, which surprises me). Eventually Chelsea wins. By the way, I get the feeling that Kim isn’t trying all that hard for the reward challenges. I don’t think she wants the burden of having to choose who go with her and she feels it’s pretty likely people will choose to take her with them.

The reward is an overnight stay on a yacht which includes eating, showering, fresh clothes, and a bed. Chelsea chooses Sabrina and Kim to go with her. Chelsea just isn’t thinking strategically. She left Alicia, Christina, and Greg back at camp.

Post-Reward Challenge

The three women enjoy their reward immensely. Back at camp, Alicia thinks Chelsea shouldn’t have taken Kim and Christina is mad that she didn’t take her after saying that she would. Alicia says the three of them need to vote for Chelsea and either force them into a tie or make Kim switch to their side. Greg says he should to the final three with the two of them. Alicia solo-views that maybe they need to take out Kim after they take out Chelsea.

Sabrina gives a great solo-view where she talks about the effect Kim can have on someone and how when Kim is talking to someone that person will believe whatever Kim is saying. Kim solo-views that she feels better about going to the end with Chelsea and Sabrina.

The three of them return to camp and Kim and Alicia talk. Kim solo-views that she needs to convince Alicia that Greg is trying to take her out. Then, she does it. Kim tells Alicia about what Greg said and Alicia says Greg told her the same thing. Kim continues on, conjecturing about what his plans must be and how he wants to take the two of them out. Alicia is totally buying it.

Alicia solo-views that she can’t believe Greg wanted to take out Kim and then take her out and go with Christina and Sabrina to the end. No one is going to make Alicia look like a fool. She tells us she is the queen of the social game. If Chelsea wins immunity, Greg is going. If she doesn’t, then Chelsea is going. Alicia reminds us that she is the most powerful and she will remain the most powerful player.

Christina wanders over the to Kim-Alicia conversation and adds that Greg asked her if she was worried about Alicia. Alicia can’t believe it. Greg, that was probably one jump too many. That sounds like the death knell for Greg’s game.

Immunity Challenge! Immunity! Back up for grabs!

So, they’ll tie one hand behind their back. They’ll pick up puzzle pieces with big metal S hooks. They’ll take the puzzle pieces, which are long and thin, and stick them into either side of a stick to make a fish skeleton.

Not surprisingly, Kim is out to a quick lead. Surprisingly, Alicia is right behind her. Retrieving, the last bag, Alicia passes Kim. Alicia is close to finishing but some pieces fall out. Kim is close but has a piece fall out. Alicia gets the last piece in and races back to the finish and wins immunity.

Post-Challenge

Alicia tells us she controls three votes: her’s, Christina’s, and Greg’s. She thinks Greg might backstab her.

Kim tells Chelsea that Alicia wants Chelsea out along with wanting Greg out. Chelsea mentions Kim’s idol.

Kim solo-views that if Alicia, Christina, and Greg are going to vote for Chelsea, then she’ll vote with them. She’d prefer to use her idol the next time as a guaranteed ticket to the final four.

Chelsea tells Sabrina that she’s really bothered by the idea that Christina could last longer than she will.

Greg and Alicia talk and Greg explains that Alicia doesn’t want to take Kim to the end. She really doesn’t. She would be a fool to do that. All of them should just take Kim out now.

Greg wears green panties on his head. Why? I don’t know. He takes them off a little later but he’s grossed out the women. If he was trying to show that he was unlikeable and weird and no one would vote for him, well, he went too far.

Tribal Council

Kat comes in with the rest of the jury and looks (a) very nice if a little over-made-up and (b) ANGRY. Or maybe she looks blank. I’m not sure.

Greg says he’s still playing because he helped the women get rid of the men. He says his moment is probably about over but maybe it’s smart to take him to the end.

Sabrina says a lot of people on the jury might vote for Greg just because they don’t want a woman to win. So, taking him to the end is a risk.

Alicia talks about how Kat took two people that other people thought she shouldn’t have taken on reward and was voted out. Kat mutters “bitches.” Then, Alicia compares that to what Chelsea did.

Voting!

Chelsea, Tarzan, Tarzan, Tarzan, Tarzan and Tarzan is going to the jury.

Bubbling Under

Alicia blew it. She lost her chance to eliminate Kim and she won’t get another. Kim can now march to the end and do it with whoever she wants, be it Sabrina and Chelsea or Alicia and Christina. For a moment, Alicia actually was the most powerful player in the game but she got played by Kim.

I believe that Kim can beat Chelsea and Sabrina in the final 3. Sabrina is persuasive but so is Kim. The only potential pitfall is whether the guys want to hold their elimination against Kim. But, Kim seems to the have the ability to spin that in her favor.

See you back here on Sunday for the finale! What do you think will happen? Let’s hear your Two Cents!

The one thing that really stood out for me after watching this episode was how absolutely gorgeous Kat is… who knew?! I think I was so overwhelmed with my dislike for her that I couldn’t see how beautiful she is. I guess when you look like that you can afford to be as dumb as a bag of rocks.

Sabrina is on to Kim, she realizes how it’s a done deal should Kim make it to the finals, I think Sabrina’s going to make a move real soon, maybe latch onto Alicia and Christina (who really has lived up to her label of uselessness).

I gasped, then died a little when Alicia revealed that she was Puerto Rican. :shame:

Kat also has a really great smile.

I could see that possibly happening at the next tribal council and then it backfiring when Kim uses her immunity idol.

Christina must be saying absolutely NOTHING in her solo-views. NOTHING. I can’t remember the last time we heard from her in one. You’d think we would’ve after the whole deal with Chelsea this week.
