Gabe is supplementing with protein powder. Dwight thinks that only girls cut protein powder with water and he chugs some. Jim says the only way to settle this is a contest. He has Gabe and Dwight doing hamstring curls and holding up telephone handsets. He later takes the photo and edits it to say something about gossiping all night. Thank goodness Robert walks in and calls a meeting. This is ridiculous.

One of the branches has closed down and Scranton is taking all its clients. Robert is nursing a hangover. He apparently closed the Binghamton branch while he was drunk the night before. He also apparently left a phone message for Nellie.

A disgruntled Syracuse employee shows up. Also, Dwight and Jim made up a salesman named Lloyd Gross. Something about he helps then embezzle or something. The Syracuse man doesn’t want them poaching New York clients. Syracuse Harry also confronts Robert about the Binghamton closure. Prestige is the biggest junk mailer on the eastern seaboard and Syracuse and Scranton both want the Prestige account. Andy overhears this conversation and says that any idiot could land that account and takes off.

They sit around waiting for Robert to make a decision on who gets the client when Harry says he’s going out for air. Then it’s a car chase to see who will get to Prestige first.

Robert sends Pam in to find out what his message to Nellie was. Robert also sent Angela in as back up if Pam fails. Gabe hears girl talk and wants in. He’s great at girl talk, by the way, because he clearly has ovaries in his scrotum.

Andy makes it to Prestige first and he basically pulls the Michael Scott Paper Company gig. Recycled storylines, how awesome.

Dwight and Jim and Harry all make it at the same time only to learn that Prestige has decided to use Big Red Paper Company. Andy calls Robert and gives him a chance to hire him back but Robert isn’t into the blackmail so he takes his investment to my friend and yours, David Wallace.

Hmm, interesting turn there at the end. Still not sold on the recycled storyline but I’m interested enough to see where this is going to go. If it gets rid of Nellie, I’m for it. What do you think? Leave a comment below!

Well, it’s official the writers have completely run out of ideas. Didn’t Michael Scott get hired back at DM by forming his own competing company and landing a big client? I guess they’re going to try and say it’s different, because Andy is getting someone to BUY DM but it’s basically the same as when Michael was fired. If it wasn’t for Kevin, who is always hilarious, I’d stop watching this show.

Ok, yes, it’s a bit of a recycle – HOWEVER – I actually enjoyed watching this episode. Been a while. But I thought it all clicked well. Also, the pending doom will link the episodes to the end and FINALLY we have a through storyline!!
