Today is the test launch day of the new Sabre store and Dwight is in charge. Also, Chuck is the spokesmodel.

Nellie is giving a little of her backstory. Apparently she auditioned for the Spice Girls. Mmmkay. Dwight has given everyone a role. Todd Packer is the pedophile, Cathy is the hot girl talking to bloggers and Dwight has Erin camped out as a hipster.

Andy rolls up into the office with a nice ugly shiner. Andy was rescuing Pam from a gang of kids on bikes. Everyone wants to know how it happened so Andy leaves out the embarrassing detail of his attacker being a fifth grade girl. Andy has Toby give them all a lesson in self defense. Unfortunately, the mother of the girl makes her apologize so that lets the cat out of the bag. Of course, everyone gives Andy a hard time about it. I would too. Toby continues with the demonstration and Kelly decides to help out. As she’s slapping at Toby, Andy tries to stand up for Toby and Kelly accidentally gives him a shiner on the other eye.

Jim gets caught using his iPhone rather than the triangle shaped and cumbersome Sabre phone so Dwight takes away his ridiculous triangle frontpack and sets him out in front of the store with a Grand Opening sign.

Ryan has to give a presentation but he’s way too nervous and he starts to unravel. Nellie orders Dwight to fix it. Ryan bails and heads home so Dwight begs Jim to give the presentation. Jim is not thrilled about wearing the costume which includes eyeliner but he does a pretty decent job. Nellie gives Dwight the VP job.

Yet another meh episode. They’re so hit and miss these days. Mostly miss. I’m having a hard time finding something to say about this because it was really boring. Opinions? Leave them in the comments!

This episode gets a lot of things right:
    1. Jim really cares about Dwight and is willing to give his all for him.
    2. Dwight has always been number 1 salesman. The right man actually got the job.
    3. Erin is making an adult decision to move on and really commits to the effort here.
