While watching the news from the comfort of his office, Jack is stunned when he hears someone say the network hasn’t done enough to apologize for Tracy’s homophobic comments. Why is he stunned? Because that someone is none other than his nemesis, Devon Banks, and he’s back to wreak even more havoc in Jack’s life.

Jack also causes some friction between Liz and her new boyfriend Criss, when she admits that he can’t accept that check because Jack is her boss and he’s always inserting himself in her business. Criss suspects the real reason is because Liz is embarrassed by him being jobless, which she doesn’t completely deny.

Find out the conclusion to last week’s episode, after the jump!

Devon goes to visit Jack and gets to business straight away, claiming he has some leverage over Jack and the whole Tracy situation. He shows Jack a video of Tracy’s stand up, which is so offensive that Devon guarantees he’ll have ever group picketing the network. He makes one thing clear, though: this time, it’s not a business play for Devon. He’s happy being a house husband in Brooklyn and only wants Jack to pull some strings to get his triplets, or “gaybys,” into St. Matthew’s, one of the most prestigious schools in the city. Jack has no choice but to go along with Devon’s demands.

Kelsey Grammer finally arrives to help with Jenna and Kenneth’s predicament. They need to get Pete, who is sleeping in a chair, to his office without anyone noticing. The only way to make that happen is to take Pete through the backstage at TGS. Kelsey comes up with a foolproof plan: he’ll perform a one-man play about Lincoln to distract the crew while Jenna and Kenneth move Pete back to his own office. To be honest, I thought this storyline heavily dragged out the episode and sort of felt like it was written just to give Kenneth and Jenna something to do. It’s too bad because the rest of the episode was perfect and I think it would have been alright if they sat this one episode out. It seemed like just a filler storyline, especially when it was revealed at the end that the bulbs were never broken,

After Liz sees Tracy give another press conference with his fellow idiots, Liz goes to see Jack who has just given Criss an “official disapproval.” Criss feels that what Jack thinks is irrelevant, but it’s clear to him that Jack still has a lot of control over Liz’s life and angrily leaves. Later, Jack takes Devon to meet with the president of the St. Matthew’s board and the president seems to be alright with doing this one favour, just as soon as Jack does one for him. He’s also president of a hospital and Don Geist pledged funds just before he died, leaving them unfulfilled. In desperation to get Devon off his back, they go visit Cathy Geist, whose office is full of unicorns. She gives them the money under one condition: she demands that NBC’s new mascot is a unicorn. After all the jumping through hoops, Devon gets what he wanted but he’s not done with Jack just yet.

Back in Jack’s office, Devon reveals that his sudden reemergence was a business ploy after all, at least for the next generation. By getting Devon’s triplets into St. Matthew’s, Jack has called in a favour that could have been Liddy’s in just a few years. The Banks boys are already ahead in life while Jack has mortgaged his daughter’s future. Jack is shocked he didn’t catch on to what was happening and depressed, he runs into Tracy in the hall. After a brief chat, Jack realizes that he came from nothing and worked his way up to Princeton, concluding that excellence can come from anywhere. Any storyline when Devon comes back to go head-to-head with Jack is hilarious, but I really enjoyed their little power struggle in this episode. Now that they both have children and their rivalry for the top position is no more, it’s all up to the next generation. They part ways with nothing more than a chilling “See you in 30 years.”

Outside, Liz is reading the apology which the idiots have written for her but it proves to be too stupid and she launches into a speech blaming idiots for Girls Gone Wild and for being the reason why Entourage may get a movie. In the middle of her rant, she sees Criss happily selling hot dogs out of his van and realizes she’s made a huge mistake. Jack sees how happy Criss makes Liz from afar and goes to see Criss once Liz is out of sight. He grants him probationary approval and says he has three months.
