Dear TV Claus,
How is Mrs. TV Claus? How are the Ratings Reindeer – are they getting ready for the busy season? I hope things in the tELFevision workshop are going well. I have been a good girl this year, because I don’t want any more Snookie or RHofNEwhere lumps of coal in my TV stocking. This year, all I’m asking for is…
- The Duggars to realize that maybe keeping up with 20 kids is work enough, and that it’s time to go off the air. While you’re at it, how about doing away with the Kody Brown crew? The big family thing isn’t fun anymore since Big Love ended.
- Second seasons for The Secret Circle and Hart of Dixie. I know they’re fluffy, but they’re really good DVR catch-up shows, and I’m not ready to give them up!
- New go-to shots for Victoria on Revenge. I’m tired of seeing her stare creepily from that beach house balcony.
- A small-screen project for Kyle Chandler. TV misses him already. And while we’re on the topic of FNL alumni, how about the nerves to sit through a full episode of American Horror Story without putting my hands over my eyes?
- Please make the 10 episode return of Arrested Development happen. Please.
- The time I need to finally watch The Walking Dead.
- Better character development (not to mention acting) for Kat Dennings on 2 Broke Girls. And that someone on that show (and Whitney) makes the decision to ditch the laugh-track/live-audience chuckles. Stat.
- Continued strong ratings for Once Upon a Time. Just more Once Upon a Time in general.
- Is it too much to ask to make SNL funny again? I know that’s a pretty big job… maybe you can work on that in anticipation of next year’s Christmas lists…
- Troy and Abed in the Morning as an actual morning show. Waking up to that would be even better than watching TBS reruns of Saved by the Bell.
- And my biggest TV wish, TV Claus? One word: DELENA!!

The Arrested Development thing is happening, sadly however, it’s exclusive to Netflix — assuming they don’t go under before production is completed.
More Jeffrey Dean Morgan especially on Supernatural. More Sam Ferris, Nikki Aycox and Misha Collins as well as Matt Cohen if nothing else to get him off that crappy 90210 remake.
