Jess is kind of a good friend, picking up Cece (the model best friend former roommate) from a bar where she is trashed. She’s worried about the boys having plans at home, which she shouldn’t be worried about. Has she met them? Nick is spending his weekend playing video games, and the perfection that is Max Greenfield as Schmidt is “chilling in his ‘mono.” I actually can’t type that sentence with a straight face.
Jess is actually apologizing for Cecelia being loose and grabby when she’s drunk. Again has she met them? They are all over that!
Schmidt sheep herds Cece into his bedroom, without him in it. And to celebrate he does some kick ass (read- opposite of kick ass) parkour in their living room. He believes he has a chance, and the boys can’t do anything but let him live the dream. And then Nick sums it up perfectly “Well, at least this tires him out.”
The next morning, all of the guys are doing their best to impress Cece. They are all failing miserably. To make things worse for Jess, Cece tries to convince Jess that Nick is into her. The boys are too preoccupied with hooking up with Cece to pay any attention to anything else. At least Nick doesn’t seem obsessed with Cece, but Jess is completely freaked out! Why though? Does she just not want to mess up her situation? Or is it something else. Didn’t just last week she and Nick see each other naked?
At the house, Cece, Schmidt and Winston are basically teasing each other to death. But I think Schmidt is going to die first. Surprisingly, he relents to being himself, after some advice from Jess, instead of trying to be something he thinks is cool. And then he gets to hold her hand. Awww.
What do you think? Do either of tonight’s couples have a chance?

I loved Schmidt and the cat on the roof who was raised by birds. Lol. I’m glad they didn’t ruin Nick & Jess’ dynamic. It’s way too soon!
