I thought this was a great episode. I loved seeing Annie risk the chance of losing her career in order to find the leak at the farm. It wasn’t all that long ago that she was there and I know she felt a connection to the new trainee’s and was determined to nip it in the bud! I also enjoyed the way the spy world met Annie’s personal world at the hospital. The super secret spy stuff out in the parking lot was kind of cool if you ask me.
Let’s talk about Annie and Auggie for a moment. I think the writers need to start having these two working more and more out in the field. The chemistry with Gorham and Perabo is fabulous. These characters, when together on screen, steal the show. It doesn’t hurt when Auggie takes his shirt off either. We can suggest that he be shirtless in every episode, but I don’t think they would go for it. Though I think many girls (and some guys) would agree. Did you notice the big smile on Annie’s face both times she saw Auggie in the room? She knows that he is the one guy she trusts explicitly. His quick thinking got her out of a sticky situation, and how he got to her room so quickly, still has me wondering.
We also met Dr. Scott, who immediately took a liking to Annie. It was nice to see her flattered by his attention. She needs to get over Ben, and so I say heck yeah to the cute doctor! It was nice to see she took the advice of the farm instructor who told her not to sacrifice everything, because at the end of the day…it’s just a job. Amen to that!
Now…as for Jai, what is he up too? Just when we started to think he was different from his father (remember last season?), he has to go and prove that the apple doesn’t fall very far. How dare he give a little threat to Joan, didn’t he see the power she has in last week’s courtroom? Lol. I can’t wait to see how this story arc plays out. Jai has pretty much been in the background and I think he is going to prove he is not just another pretty face.
Now we come to the Campbell’s. Silly silly Arthur, what possessed you to meet with your ex-wife and not tell Joan. You know that if it comes down to you or her…my money is on Joan. You took the ex wife’s advice when the current wife told you the same thing…tsk tsk. I think your butt is on the couch for a while.
Some of my favorite moments:
-Annie NOT using a gun at the farm and proving brains are more effective.
-The awesome sky jumping-fighting while free falling- then hanging on while pulling parachute scene.
-Annie, meeting someone outside the agency, and having a good time.
-I liked the fact that the mean sob of an instructor turned out to be an average guy who wanted to start a family. Who the heck saw that coming?
-All Annie/Auggie scenes. I really liked how Auggie used the surgeon code talk to tell her how to get to the laptop.
What did you think? Did you like the episode? What do you think Jai is up to? How will Joan react to Art’s ways? Will we see much of Dr Scott Weiss?

My favorite line: “And I think you can see I lost a hell of a lot more than just my luggage.” said with just the right touch of angst.
I wasn’t impressed with the skydiving scene at all. Absolutely not suspenseful to me. We know that Annie’s not going to hit the ground without a chure. No future in that. I did buy the possibility of her getting ‘burned’ on the mission though even though I knew it wouldn’t happen. Did find the ‘kidnapping’ by Roy suspensful just for a few minutes. Yeah, her cover was blown but in a good way. She now had an ally.
I, too, am wondering where Jai’s going. That brief gloating smile in Auggie’s office told a HUGE tale. If I had to guess, he’s wanting Arthur’s office in the worst way. Maybe it’s not just his father leaking info?
All-in-all an enjoyable episode.
I forgot to mention that Annie caught a bit of a change in Auggie’s “how i became blind” story. All for the set up of his episode in #7…when we get his flashbacks.

I can’t wait till July 19 episode the whole story about Auggie how he lost his eyesite sound that will be interesting how the relationship between Annie and Auggie will change now that he will tell her everything! That will be interesting. Can’t wait! As for Jai we are seeing another side of him. Auggie didn’t like Jai from the beginning has to be a reason. Not surprise if he has a hidden agenda!
I can bet top dollar that episode #7 will blow the ratings out of the water, just like last years “Communication Breakdown”. I know the show is all about Annie…but Auggie is getting some much deserved attention. Lets just hope Gorham gets the Emmy he deserves. There is talk Auggie will be offered a promotion..would be great if the offer is one that Jai wanted.

Party pooper!
It was SO heartfelt when the Farm Instructor advised Annie how “at the end of the day, it’s just a job”- the expression on Annie’s face truly captured how she was moved by that humanistic statement. Hence, the dating scenes! Dr. Scott Weiss is a welcome of NEW fresh air- I KNEW he looked familiar- he also played a Dr. in the movie, “No Strings Attached”. 🙂 Annie learning that Danielle informed the doc that she worked @ “The Smithsonian” was a gentle reminder that her big sis is ALWAYS lookin’ for her (and that’s why I’m really hoping Annie will confide in Danielle about her REAL job sometime soon, maybe NEXT Season? ;p )
How Annie opted for the map instead of a gun was a brilliant way of conveying to the viewers that Annie is a female character who possesses beauty, charm, wit, strength, AND BRAIN!!! It’s no wonder why we cant help but to continuously root for her week-after-week!
And week-after-week, we also see the budding friendship betw A&A strengthen. SO delightful to see such scenes; how Auggie manages to come to the rescue each time is amazing! (shirtless, or not, that IS our Chris Gorham: Ah.MAH.zingggg.! Lol)
Oh shady, suspicious Jai- fine, let him have a storyline already. Kinda intrigued anyway. LOL
And, Joan- she’s such a badass of a boss; Arthur will eventually know how much of a badass of a wifey she can be the more he sneaks around around her.
When Mr Ben soon discovers Annie’s dates w/ the doc, wondering if he’ll finally bow out of her life?

I have read some reviews complaining about Annie not having a gun, I am glad this showed she doesn’t need one and that guns will blow your cover. She is great at thinking on her feet.
I am actually glad that Jai may have a storyline starting. I like Sendhil, and the tension him & Auggie can have at times.

I know well Auggie never liked Jai from the beginning because I think he knows that Jai is like his father in everyway and seeing episode 3 proves us right so who knows. You are right guys they might be a story line for Jai yet maybe as the leak and bad guy at the CIA. Also interested how the relationship between Annie and Auggie will be thorough the whole season! Stay tuned!
I have seen spoiler pics of Auggie ep, and Jai is it them. I am curious as to how he plays into the story. Is he somehow part of the reason he is blind? Can’t wait!

Really where did you see these pictures I only saw the one from the article in TV guy mention about the episode 7 on July 19. Let me know where you found them I want to see. That is explains part why Auggie doesn’t like Jai! Wondering what Annie will think when Auggie tells her!

That would be something if Auggie take’s Joan Position and Joan take Arthur’s position! Episode 7 is underwraps! We have to wait.
